We actually had them charted in earlier versions of the song ... Throughout testing we decided to remove them as the song was just utterly insane with them in there ... it was pretty failworthy in the bridge section. Some of our newer songs have slightly slower tempos with fully charted bass though so keep an eye out.

Is the song played with dual bass pedals in real life? If not, you should be charting all of the kicks.

A lot of the kicks are played on doubles yes, A lot are hittable on one pedal but it takes a shit load talent and a very good pedal so in the interest of not annoying the living hell out of people and make the song FC-able we decided to remove them.

The game is about having fun, not being super realistic, if you want to actually play the song, get a drum set. I just want to have fun, this seems like one of those songs to do so.

I didn't say that they "should" be charted. I said I "wish" they were. I know the game is about having fun. Some people (like myself) might find the game more fun if double kicks were charted. Your definition of fun can be completely different from someone else's.

Now knowing that double bass was used, I understand why they weren't charted. I'm not complaining in any way.

I'm not sure how porting songs over will work, All the creators have been told is that it would be 'A couple forms' to fill out ... So we'll see ... I and the bassist actually have PS3's also so we'd like to be able to play our own song when it comes out.
