I think you are wrong. Greek and Turkish Cypriots are friends, we always have been, we love each other. My grandma still remembers her Turkish-Cypriot neighbour giving her a sandwidge.

@oddworms you are right, i know there are good greeks that are good friends...but EOKA and stuff like that was a nationalist movement who didnt like Turks..infact when our prime minister announced that the invasion wasnt only for Turkish Cypriots but for all Cypriots..this is why he didnt take the wholisland..smaybe one day greeks will learn and unite again

It's really complicated. It essense it has nothing to do with Greeks or Greek-Cypriots. It's to do with governments. The British Government, The Turkish Government, and then the Greek Government from Greece.

In Cyprus we have many Turkish Cypriots, some even work for us Greeks, and we have no problem with them. It's not the people who did this, but it's the benefit of governments.

You have to understand that Cyprus is open to our Turkish Cypriots neighbours. In no more than 10 years the island will unite, because the country is now European controlled by the ECB, and it's within their best interest to unite the island.

Many TC work in Cyprus, some even go to nightschools here to learn Greek. Nobody says anything bad about Turkish-Cypriots here. People want them to come back, as they never wanted them to leave.

For instance, I want you to look at who benefits. The TC did not benefit from this division, neither did the GC people. Turkey did, because the took some of the island for millitary purposes, UK did because of the bases they use for illegal wars in the middle-east (and training exercises), and Greece did because of the money they got from it.

Cyprus is not Greek it is Cypriot...Greek,Turkish,and other cypriots live on it...instead of living together peacefully greek cypriots wanted a union with Greece and they wanted to take all the Turkish Cypriot rights this is why we took over North...we could have tooken all of it and we should have...Cyprus is a Eurasin island and its multicultural...just because ancient greeks and romes bulit stuff on it doesnt make it European
