If I remember correctly, they both had 4 octave or great vocal ranges in their primes. The differences is that Chris is a baritone singer with a lot of room in his upper range, whereas Robert was a tenor. Chris sounds best when he stays within a normal baritone range, because that is where his comfortable range lies.
