The film was alright but you have to appreciate how much work and detail was put into this. For those of you who watched it, it was because of the trailer and the special effects so it got your attention. You have to appreciate it because you fell for it in the first place.

@aclockworkbunny Work and Detail my butt, I've been learning how to do this stuff the past 6 months, this is no challenge. This stuff is very easy to make once you have learned it, a real director would try to make the visual effects look as realistic as possible, meaning using live action effects as much as possible. The only live action part was the people in the car, that is just plain lazy. :P

i like this movie sooooo much! its so emotional and exciting and the effects are awesome but i thing sometimes its exaggerated. the corking donat and the 2 old ladys, sitting in their car caring about their eggs...i dont like this, and the tight escape its sometimes illogical. even so i love this movie.

Maybe I'm jaded because I understand some basic science. But I think this movie looks absolutely horrible. You notice how the limo (and then the airplane) is always just ahead of the crumbling Earth. Does this remind you of a scene with frost in The Day After Tomorrow?

What's really absurd is that this movie is 2 hours and 38 minutes long (ok maybe 6-8 minutes of that is the credits).
