  • LOL Tom Hanks ... THE BEST!!

  • Dave gave Tom a lot of support and airtime when he was starting out. When Bosom Buddies took off, Dave was a huge fan, very supportive of Tom. When Tom's movie career and Oscar collection took off, Dave was still there. Tom gets back to Dave's show whenever he can.

  • fake!

  • Tom Hanks is incredible. He'll do anything for Letterman and for Conan.

  • its funny because tom hanks was giving dave a bad time about his new show when he hosted late night before conan. hanks was saying all dave is gonna do is show spinning plates and circ du solei. hanks was on daves last show on nbc.

  • @serenitygarden84 are you talking about leno?

  • "You don't care where I was."

    So true, Dave, so true.

  • so much like my dad gush lmao

  • Best actor of all time

  • Hehe, cute, I love when Tom does stuff like that. Great sense of humor. ^^

  • i think it was just a joke m8

  • Of course it was a joke. Why would they have a camera rolling if it was true? If it was real, then the cameraman would also have thought the strike was over. You dumbass!

  • I think that Tom actually did think the strike was over but they played a little prank and decided to roll it with him on his own.

    But probably not.

  • Hahahahahahahaah your a hero now!

    a very idiotic hero

  • you need to relax

  • When you get chance would you put down your top 5 or ten movies. I agree with you about a lot of shit.

But what blows your hair back Pal.???

  • i will name that guy's top 5 movies for you:

    1. Cedarsedge

    2. Is

    3. A

    4. Douche

    5. Bag

  • JAJA! Good one! ;)

  • Great sense of humour and that is so vital in a person ha ha how funny I laughed so much at this- really good to see the funny side of life!!

  • This guy is always in a good mood.

  • lmao

  • Meh, The Colbert report is better than ever.

  • I AM WITH WRITERS WGA...

  • shit, calm down

  • I rarly watch prime time network tv anymore. I find more entertaining shows on the history channel, comedy central, discovery, hbo, etc......

The writers might strike themselves out of a job.

  • I AM WITH WRITERS WGA...

  • im against it for one reason, if property value goes up does the guy that bulit the house come and ask for the difference. writers are payed to write and get the fuck out

  • I AM WRITERS WGA...

  • psycho

  • I'm suffering! I want my shows back!

  • yes ;) the winners will be presented on a pressconference

  • Is it true that they are cancelling the Golden Globes?!!!!!?

  • I sympathize with the Writers' Guild. But the strike is really hurting more than the members of the Producer's Alliance. All of the film crews of the affected shows have had to been laid off due to their being a stoppage in the process. So because these Writers want residuals from DVD sales, they are willing to put millions of film crews out on their ass. They have no union (to my knowledge) to stand up for them.

  • I agree with you up to a point. Most of these writers make millions as it is so I don't feel that sorry for them. But I do feel for the crews, how long can they survive without steady work.

  • EXACTLY. Screw the viewers, we'll survive. But the crews don't make all that much money, and they got put out of work and are still out of work. Thats not fair to them and the writers should understand that this has gone too far.

  • "Most writers are middle class; 46% did not even work last year. Of those who do work, one quarter make less than $37,700 a year and 50% make less than $105,000 a year." Consider that the hand full of writers who are rich probably aren't the ones who are so desperate they would strike. The corporate interests who are involved make over 90 billion dollars annual revenue, they are offering writers a third a sent for every dollar they make.

  • So Tom Hanks has turned into Jack Benny.

  • He's not 39!

  • Is Tom Hanks a member of the Screen Actors Guild which could go on strike this Summer 2008?

  • of course!

  • If this is recent, then thank god Tom Hanks cut his hair. That hair style he's been sporting since the Divinci Code was just fucking stupid looking on him.

  • I totally agree, that DaVinci-hair was the worst thing I've ever seen! He looks soooo much better with shorter hair.

  • that was funny. . . is that the writers making fun of the writers strike?? either way funny.

  • David Letterman M.I.A. with Tom Hanks in the guest chair noticing the show was on WGA strike hiatus.

  • Wow ! How Wonderful !- So the premise is Tom shows up when nobody else is there ! Oh how marvelous !!!! Who else dares to be so clever ? Well done David Letterman and Tom Hanks ! When I first saw this clip - I'll never forget that moment ! Oh joyous rapture !!!!! Praise be to the Tom !!!!

  • That was a good video

  • wow so letterman finally shaved his beard ...thank GOD he was starting to look like an annorexic department store santa lol

  • yeah, he shaved off his beard right before this interview with Tom Hanks.
