What is the name of this trick (in English). Also, if it is in Card College, what volume is it in? I have the five-volume set of Card College but I haven't read it yet. I can pretty much figure out how this trick is done but I would like to make sure I have it right.
Can someone tell me where I can get a box like Mr. Giobbi's? I've been looking all over and can't find anything like it. So I've been doing the Fred Kaps presentation instead but I like Giobbi's better. If I could locate a box like his I would do it like him. Thanks for any help!
everything performance of Mr. Giobbi is a fantastic source for every cardician. The study of timing, the role of gags, the strenght and weak moments.... and, of course, the tecnique. Wonderful.
i watched this vid more than 15 times to pick up the finer aspects of presentation when i first was learning this effect, n it has worked charms...the finer aspects are hard to learn from books so one has to watch a true master to perfect an effect :)
This was a very nice effect, but Tommy Wonder had a way of making his performance feel like real magic. Don't get me wrong, Roberto is great, and it is clear that he orchestrated his effect in a way where the MCF is guaranteed not to be heard or even seen. The misdirection is great at that very moment, no one would be looking at him during the MCF. But Tommy Wonder built up to the same basic climax in a way that made it seem like a miracle.
I agree that Tommy Wonder´s Ambitious Card plus ringbox is great and his presentation is great, too. He was a genius.
But the effect itself, detached from the ACR or verbal presentation, is a little bit better here in my opinion because Giobbi let the spectator open the box.
If you say that Roberto Giobbi is nothing, you dont know nothing about magic, Giobbi and Wonder are professionals, they are really good, and the two effects are good.
roberto is perfect
e' perfetto

No, Giobbi is very very good, but Wonder was a genius. And the trick is not in the box.

No, there is an astronomic diference betwen Giobbi and Wonder. Giobbi is very very good, but Wonder was a genius.
Originaly this game is from Kaps, and the secret is not in the little box.
