@22annabella22 Hey,this is YT, just be thankful stuff like this has been preserved in the 1st place and made available to all thanx to this wonderful technology we now have.
I love how Edmunds starts his solo like a clip from Bill Haley's Rock Around the Clock but by the end it was more like he dropped a hit of "Danny Gatton Blotter". lol
brian is the best...i mean when brian play solos he dosen't even look on the string he just juming oround but dave must watch... thats why brian rules.. and many many other reasons..
That first part of the solo was from something else, I can't put my finger on it but I've heart it before. Anyone know? Is starts at about 1:10. Is he playing Brian setzer licks?
these were the days: 1980- 1982. I saw all these bands back in Boston: Elvis Costello. Nick Lowe. Stray Cats. Rockpile. Clash. U2. The Specials. Graham Parker & the Rumour... time to pull my old records out!
too cool, in the early 80's I saw those same guys, include english beat, the b52's, petenders, talking heads, the alarm, the divynls, police, cars....back in the good old days.
Wow! Great show. Dave, Brian and the guys have so much style. (From the looks of his physique, Brian never picked up anything heavier than a guitar...)
