@jimkuppers What's coming out of Nashville these days. Original country music was written by singers and songwriters who had experienced hard times, bad times, the depression, and being poor as dirt. Singing was their outlet and the songs reflected what they knew and how they grew up. Their life story was written in song. Today, most of the country singers have grown up with three square meals a day and very few hard times to speak of.
