Aarron, i just saw a video in myspace that you are persuing going back to school, that is great, dont give up persuing an education. I hope you did not get overwhelmed by all the emails i sent you about the mtf women. I did that so you can see the reality of the girls who start transition at 14. i know that you have probably being to support groups and seeing the mtf there who are mostly men in their 50s going thru transition. It is very different from the girls that begin at 14 years old.
question for you, hairy beast :): i'm getting my ovaries and the rest removed monday. i currently take 100mg every week. at my 3 month i was at 478 and was told the range for my age, 33, is 500-700. any idea what to expect once the estrogen is gone? i'm 5 months tomorrow so have an appointment already scheduled to get my levels checked in november. about 1 month post op so i suppose that might be really good timing. any thoughts oh wise one?
@Zedie36 Well I can't of course tell you what's going to happen with certainty, but the majority of transguys end up having to reduce their T post op... Mine is currently at 733 and I need to get it back to 700. Pre-op I was at 0.50cc per week. Post-op I reduced to 0.40 for about a month, then I changed it to 0.30. I've been on that dose for about a year, and am just now having to reduce it to 0.25. In the future I may have to reduce it to 0.20. You just need to monitor your levels.
@aaronftm thanks, good info. so interesting how i am taking twice as much as you were pre-op yet your levels are much higher. all the more reason for guys to get their levels checked regularly!
Wow, 6 years, you've got so far and are looking great! Hope they dont lower your dose :)
