What a trip beginning at 3:00. I'd presume the vocal audio panning was the doing of Czukay-he always had tricks up his sleeve in the studio that gave Can yet another unfathomable dynamic.
Interesting ... this is the first time I've heard of this group. Not bad.
But did the above comment by "nizxbit" really say "Floyd sucked after Meddle?" Are you kidding me? What an ignorant comment. If thought, you do have the right to your opinion. Pink Flloyd never sucked. You can't even put the word "suck" afeter "Floyd."
@whitepoeticwarrior More Can or just more music in general? I've already uploaded several Can songs. I don't feel the need to upload more Can because most of their songs are already on Youtube.
Yeah, good point. Upload more obscure music in general. Bands like "Touch," "Mandrake Memorial," "The Freeborne," "White Noise," "Dom," "The Music Machine," etc.
That's just your opinion. Obviously with Syd's absence and Gilmour's appearance, the sound changed a bit and traversed into a new and different realm. But saying it "sucked" is going too far. Things that suck for me is: Good Charlotte, Blink 182, Limp Bizkit, all rap and hip-hop. There's no way I can put Floyd post-Syd in that category. I enjoy both styles of Pink Floyd. I can't imagine not hearing "The Wall" or "Dark Side Of The Moon."
@spineway Come on now, let's not get into an argument over something like this. Everybody has different tastes. Cool it or I'm deleting some posts and blocking some ppl.
I first heard Can in 1973 on a 3-hour Tandy reel-to-reel at my Uncle Peter's basement falt in Neuss, just outside Dusseldorf. He drove an Autobianchi in those days. The whole palce was a neubau.
I met a guy in a millionaire's house in Chiselhurst that was being squatted. 1974. They had this most amazing party with live bands. All the fireplaces were ablaze, it was one of those Beggar's Banquet moments when everyone had got beyond the usual foodchain caveman bullshit. Anyhow this guy had a room upstairs that was a shrine to the Pink Floyd. Needless to say, he had all their albums and the walls were adorned with Flyod memorabilia. He told me they were revealling secrets to him...
It's true, Can is absolutely influential and did contribute highly to shaping modern music. . But all in all , if it weren't for The Velvet Underground, they wouldn't have existed. . Can will always remain, forever, no matter what, my favorite band.
imo floyd after syd is an endless repetiton. can's music became weaker because they tried to expand their barriers. Even if they failed, i choose a failed leap of creativity over a safe sound of drabness and staleness. but again this is just my opinion
@TheRealCates good shout. i worship can but only up to tago mago and i preffer mooney, but ege and tago are still awsome, best one iv got is a red lp of ridio waves. hard to find but its well worth it
Oh, no, it's awn! I'd say pre burnout Syd Barrett and all of Can's early work look on from the top of the rock mountain, squinting their eyes to view the rest bellow.

@M40A1A "I have heard of floyd yet I have never heard of Can until I opened a link a second ago what say you?"
And neither group have heard of you. Floyd may well be the more commercially successful group, but which is the more influential. I'd say Can. And I'd say they age better. So much Floyd sounds dated, though the earliest stuff is brilliant.
If we're ONLY talking about those albums and not the rest of Can's discography then there is certainly a strong case for The Can being the best Rock and Roll act.
If we're talking about the COMPLETE works of one group I would have to say Pink Floyd wins that war.
thank you for loading this amazing band.i love everything they made all time favorites.oude wellinton:dont understand your comment"proud to be german"(im german too)but why are you proud, that can made great music?they could be mexican or french, russian.the music is important.and by the way,you can only be proud for things, that YOU have done,or?
First I have to say thank you fur uploading and spreading this :D ... there are still reasons to be proud of being german, even better than Ton Steine Scherben and Kraftwerk, just imo ^^°
So, from your collection... you maybe got the muse to upload yoo doo right.. I just found a edited 10min version, that also disappeared. Would be great =)
@mobyboy have to say that Velvet Undergound and Stooges got there first- this is highly influenced by the Velvets with similar qualitys existing on White Light WHite heat, and while Can released an album before the STooges they didnt form until after them, so the Stooges would have been perfroming punkish sounds earlier, but I cant deny that their influence and artistic achievement wasnt immense
There is another (not as good imo) version of this on the album "Unopened". I think it might be a bootleg though and if it isn't then its probably pretty rare.
fukin beutiful- im 15 yrs old and was raised on a rich soup of this and bluebeat. glad to of heard real music before the industry snatched it away from us! peace
thank's there should be more people like yourself around, it's not easy trying to find most of the old album's, it's part of the fun but i like to try before i buy. unless the album cover is genius because that's part of how an album appeal's to me, your a good man.
Will always love Can. I got the records, but it's always good when stuff like this is on youtube because that way people can discover it who would otherwise never had the chance.
Bought Tago Mago as a young teenager over 35 years ago. Only heard Ege Bamyasi and Monster Movie recently. Took a while to get into Malcolm Mooney's vocals. But right here, right now, this is my very favourite Can Track. This track gets into a phenominal rockin' groove as it nears the end.
Listen loud with the earphones on and it will leave you tingling as it finishes.
