  • 3:00 go Johny Gooooooooooooo

  • F****** awesome!!!!!!!

  • Uh uh-uh Uh, uh uh-uh uh....

  • Actually I first heard Can in 1097. It was Monster Movie. Now my uncle drives a Jaguar...

  • One groovy trip to sonic heaven.

  • Best first track to a first LP ever. Crank it right up and wait for Michael & Irmin chucking round the high notes.

  • ok, that's it. i need every single can album now.

  • An here I thought the Germans was only good for War and Coprophagia.

  • When it comes to Krautrock, Can is by far the best band.

  • Can, Kraftwerk, and Neu! are the true pioneers of electronic music. Funny how they all come from Germany. Germans are awesome. :)

  • What a trip beginning at 3:00. I'd presume the vocal audio panning was the doing of Czukay-he always had tricks up his sleeve in the studio that gave Can yet another unfathomable dynamic.

  • Interesting ... this is the first time I've heard of this group. Not bad.

But did the above comment by "nizxbit" really say "Floyd sucked after Meddle?" Are you kidding me? What an ignorant comment. If thought, you do have the right to your opinion. Pink Flloyd never sucked. You can't even put the word "suck" afeter "Floyd."

  • @whitepoeticwarrior Well said 8)

  • @TheRealCates

    Yes, upload more.

  • @whitepoeticwarrior More Can or just more music in general? I've already uploaded several Can songs. I don't feel the need to upload more Can because most of their songs are already on Youtube.

  • @TheRealCates

Yeah, good point. Upload more obscure music in general. Bands like "Touch," "Mandrake Memorial," "The Freeborne," "White Noise," "Dom," "The Music Machine," etc.

  • @whitepoeticwarrior Floyd sucked after Syd quit period.

  • @malgray2

That's just your opinion. Obviously with Syd's absence and Gilmour's appearance, the sound changed a bit and traversed into a new and different realm. But saying it "sucked" is going too far. Things that suck for me is: Good Charlotte, Blink 182, Limp Bizkit, all rap and hip-hop. There's no way I can put Floyd post-Syd in that category. I enjoy both styles of Pink Floyd. I can't imagine not hearing "The Wall" or "Dark Side Of The Moon."

  • @whitepoeticwarrior pink floyd sucks always, actually. they are a bad band.

  • @spineway Come on now, let's not get into an argument over something like this. Everybody has different tastes. Cool it or I'm deleting some posts and blocking some ppl.

  • @whitepoeticwarrior Learning to Fly, my friend. Learning to Fly.

  • I first heard Can in 1973 on a 3-hour Tandy reel-to-reel at my Uncle Peter's basement falt in Neuss, just outside Dusseldorf. He drove an Autobianchi in those days. The whole palce was a neubau.

  • I met a guy in a millionaire's house in Chiselhurst that was being squatted. 1974. They had this most amazing party with live bands. All the fireplaces were ablaze, it was one of those Beggar's Banquet moments when everyone had got beyond the usual foodchain caveman bullshit. Anyhow this guy had a room upstairs that was a shrine to the Pink Floyd. Needless to say, he had all their albums and the walls were adorned with Flyod memorabilia. He told me they were revealling secrets to him...

  • @whitepoeticwarrior Floyd zu-

Thats not right, lemme try again

    Floyd Suop-

    FUCK, yer right. :I

  • @whitepoeticwarrior It's all (or mostly) a matter of opinion of course. Personally I think they turned bad on The Wall.

  • @whitepoeticwarrior Pink Floyd suck the badness out of my heart.

  • Feedback at abt 2:14 onwards: priceless!

  • das hab ich gehört,als ich das erste mal pilze geschmissen hab....und danach brainticket....war echt ne wilde nach, kann ich euch sagen....

  • BLOWED - MY - FREAKIN' - MIND

  • What prat dislikes this?

  • Can were truly ahead of their time!

  • such a great band and so unknown for this part of the world (Chile)

  • It's true, Can is absolutely influential and did contribute highly to shaping modern music. . But all in all , if it weren't for The Velvet Underground, they wouldn't have existed. . Can will always remain, forever, no matter what, my favorite band.

  • I just . . . fail to see how this is punk. It's experimental, long-form, and obtuse. Punk is not supposed to be any of those things.

  • @rws10923 - Crazy, right? Peel back the curtain....slowly, my boy.....this is the world before 1977. Smell that? Smells like freedom, don't it?

  • like a long trip

  • theres no fuckin way this was recorded in the late 60's, sounds modern as hell

  • @skateNappreciate exactly what crosses my mind every time I hear CAN

  • im stoned as fuck...what a great song!

  • 1968 sucked dick except that Can put out the most important record EVER.

  • imo floyd after syd is an endless repetiton. can's music became weaker because they tried to expand their barriers. Even if they failed, i choose a failed leap of creativity over a safe sound of drabness and staleness. but again this is just my opinion

  • @akis723 man if you said there was a lack of experimentation after syd's departure then have you not listened to any post-syd work?

  • "All has been forgotten as the plastic turns to rotten."

    Greatest line ever written.

  • First CAN song that I ever heard. Heard it when I was 14. What kind of 14 year old listens to this haha?

  • @titass420 me.

  • @titass420 One who hasn't allowed MTV to tell them what's good.

  • Huh? Pink Floyd didn't suck after the Wall? This song even gets me sucked into another dimension!

  • pre-post-punk!

  • you can totally tell they loved the Velvet Underground

  • This is some freaky shit! I like it!

  • @CATES Floyd sucked after Meddle,as influential as they are Can slay them.

  • @nizxbit Meh...I'm gonna have to disagree. Can's music after Future Days wasn't all that great. You're entitled to your opinion though.

  • @TheRealCates good shout. i worship can but only up to tago mago and i preffer mooney, but ege and tago are still awsome, best one iv got is a red lp of ridio waves. hard to find but its well worth it

  • @TheRealCates

Oh, no, it's awn! I'd say pre burnout Syd Barrett and all of Can's early work look on from the top of the rock mountain, squinting their eyes to view the rest bellow.

  • @nizxbit

I have heard of floyd yet I have never heard of Can until I opened a link a second ago what say you?

  • @nizxbit I agree with TheRealCates. Wish You Were Her is my personal favorite of the Floyd.

  • @nizxbit what are you smoking? Floyd never put out a single bad album (although MLOR and the DivisionBell weren't that great).

  • dude bring it all can is just great music men u know it

  • Thank you for posting this.

  • You're welcome.

  • from Monster Movie to soon over babaluma, can was the greatest act in Rock and Roll history, bar none.

  • If we're ONLY talking about those albums and not the rest of Can's discography then there is certainly a strong case for The Can being the best Rock and Roll act.

If we're talking about the COMPLETE works of one group I would have to say Pink Floyd wins that war.

  • This must been the early rap came out.

  • This influenced EN's "Feurio!" ah-ah-ah-ah

  • thank you for loading this amazing band.i love everything they made all time favorites.oude wellinton:dont understand your comment"proud to be german"(im german too)but why are you proud, that can made great music?they could be mexican or french, russian.the music is important.and by the way,you can only be proud for things, that YOU have done,or?

  • First I have to say thank you fur uploading and spreading this :D ... there are still reasons to be proud of being german, even better than Ton Steine Scherben and Kraftwerk, just imo ^^°

So, from your collection... you maybe got the muse to upload yoo doo right.. I just found a edited 10min version, that also disappeared. Would be great =)

  • Yeah. I'll think about it. It's a pretty awesome song.

I'm unemployed so it's not like I'm doing anything else lol.

  • YES> MORE> MORE> LOTS MORE! upload lots more can or faust. i cant find Faut- Disconnected on here and its amazing.

  • thanks for the upload, these shyt is aurally orgasmic

  • No problem. I'm glad you like it.

  • pioneers !!

they inented the electric & punk sound, before the offical bands.

  • @mobyboy I'd say they were the fist Art Punk band!

  • @mobyboy have to say that Velvet Undergound and Stooges got there first- this is highly influenced by the Velvets with similar qualitys existing on White Light WHite heat, and while Can released an album before the STooges they didnt form until after them, so the Stooges would have been perfroming punkish sounds earlier, but I cant deny that their influence and artistic achievement wasnt immense

  • @mobyboy no, their sound owes a lot to velvet undergound / lou reed

  • Get more from your collection man. thanks.

  • Just amazing basslines and leibezeits drums - god Can sounds so fresh in 2009

  • Great song, I love Can. It's really cool how they were this weird and they influenced just about everything that came after them.

  • I once downloaded a version of this that was slightly different, any idea if that's available on CD anywhere?

  • I think I know what you're talking about...

There is another (not as good imo) version of this on the album "Unopened". I think it might be a bootleg though and if it isn't then its probably pretty rare.

  • fukin beutiful- im 15 yrs old and was raised on a rich soup of this and bluebeat. glad to of heard real music before the industry snatched it away from us! peace

  • you guys ever listen to saccharine trust?

  • The first can album I ever heard and this track is still my favourite thanks for putting it on youtube

  • You're welcome. It's not like it was hard for me to do lol ^ ^

  • thank's there should be more people like yourself around, it's not easy trying to find most of the old album's, it's part of the fun but i like to try before i buy. unless the album cover is genius because that's part of how an album appeal's to me, your a good man.

  • You're welcome! It's nice to be noticed =)

  • Will always love Can. I got the records, but it's always good when stuff like this is on youtube because that way people can discover it who would otherwise never had the chance.

  • That was my intention =)

  • If you like this song, go ahead and check out some of my other uploads.

  • Bought Tago Mago as a young teenager over 35 years ago. Only heard Ege Bamyasi and Monster Movie recently. Took a while to get into Malcolm Mooney's vocals. But right here, right now, this is my very favourite Can Track. This track gets into a phenominal rockin' groove as it nears the end.

Listen loud with the earphones on and it will leave you tingling as it finishes.

    Mart.

  • Yea, this is great. Bring out more of your collection for us man.

  • i love this album

  • This song still blows my mind after all these years!
