@AntiFanBoy1 Peter Ebdon is a good consistent player but he is not a great player He has won 8 ranking titles. Ronnie has won 15, Mark Williams 16, Hendry 35, Steve Davis 28, Higgins 23, Jimmy White 10, John Pulman 10 and John Parrot has 10 too. Good player but not a great and certainly not better than ronnie.

you may be right but i'd need a reason to believe it. the black is the obvious snookering ball. if the snooker doesn't work out he's got greater distance between the balls. plus he has to travel a shorter distance to get behind the black than behind the pink. lastly, if he misjudges it he might leave hendry with the cue ball against the end rail. so, i still say, fluke.
