Excellent content, terrible video quality. It was hard to read what instruments were on the screen.

Anyway... Route Planning Computer? Chart Digitizer? Lightening Control Panel? Hull Stress Monitoring System? X-Band Radar? Hichas System? Satellite whatnot?

In my times, we'd be lucky to have a GPS on the bridge. How times have changed.

If the video was shot in HD and with more explanatoryu remarks, it would be one of the best on you tube.

As it is, it's still good.

mate thats a really good video... and i have to say that besides the tidyness and cleanlyness of that bridge, it is also the best equiped bridge i've ever seen...! its HEAVEN... hahah... i would be very happy to work on a bridge like that someday in the future...! btw.. which is the owner company an what flags have they if i may ask...?

Awesome! Thanks for sharing this! I love this kind of stuff, and I'm sure this is about as close as I'll ever get to the bridge of a ship. So from what I gather you're doing about 24 knots at full ahead. I didn't know those things had autopilot! Although I guess it makes sense. Very nice detailed tour.

@ab48726 I have hand steered a 32,000 GRT ship at that speed, and it's very difficult to do without causing a lot of rolling (it was a tender Ro-Ro, tankers are easier). Ships are almost never hand steered at those speeds.
