Your recipes all look beautiful. Koreans must believe the saying that we eat with our eyes first. I hope to try making these soon. They look to be one of the more simple recipes you've posted. I will also try some of the savoury dishes later as well, although I know I will have to adjust the heat level for myself and my family. We have only a small tolerance for very spicy dishes. However, I have successfully adjusted a LOT of Vietnamese dishes to our taste, so...YUM!
@sactowngrl yes, they are edible flowers raised without using pesticide. Check the recipe on my website if you want to make it. I posted more detailed info, tips, and the photos.
@pandaeyes11 rosebuds can be bought at health food stores or online at places that sell herbs also. I make sure it is organic as some people like to use heavy pesticides on rose buds and petals. It can be made into rose tea.
Sweetie, Like ur blog so much.where did you find those pretty flowers. I'm looking for severial kroean recipes. I went to H-mart for kroean rice cakes. I didn't find here. One is very small with pinenuts. the Other one is empty in side and very crispy outside with rice cracker crumbs. they are so good and expensive. Do you know how to make it ?
@Bessie163 I bought the edible flowers at Farmer's market in New York. Check the recipe on my website. Photos, recipe, tips, ingredients are posted there.
