I read Ken's book The Game, and I must say that all of you should purchase it and read it. It gives Ken's perspective of being the goalie of the most storied franchise in all sport.
One of the greatest goalies ever, to play on one of the best teams ever, any sport, any time. A true class act! Sure miss seeing Ken and the rest of the Habs from the seventies. As Bob hope said, or sang, "Thanks for the memories".
I had the honor and privilege of being at the Forum for Ken's last game. My friends and I watched the Canadiens beat the Rangers 4-2 that night and we were within feet of Lord Stanley's Cup as it was paraded around the ice after the victory. As the celebration on ice wound down, we headed for the parking garage only to have Ken Dryden emerge from the building and walk to his car parked right next to mine. We were fawning all over him. That would be his last game. Thanks Ken for the memories
@davebrouse Thats an awesome memory! Dryden was my first athlete-hero and even as a kid I knew he was special because he seemed so smart, humble and yet so great. I remember living in Toronto and happen to see him get out of his car with his son to go into a hardware store. I thought about approaching him but thought otherwise and enjoyed the moment of seeing my childhood hero in the flesh. What a goalie!
ouais sti ! pis stanné ,faut que les habs y poussent fort. Venez voir ma 24 e coupe stanley sur ma playlist des habs 92 93 pis Patrick Roy , avec un fight . I still remeniss these moments . Ceck it out on my channel . allé Habs allé , :-)

I wished Dryden would have put his mask on and hold his goalie stick the way he did just for a few seconds one last time but to no avail...
