  • Mine got water in it can anybody help?

  • @TheSuperPokemanz Hmmm. Never had that happen before. If there is not much water in it, say, it looks damp but not puddled, set it in the sun for a day, and it probably will dry out. If it has a sizable amount of water in it, or it is still damp after sunning, perhaps you'll need to poke or drill some holes in it to let the water out. If it were me, I'd make the holes about 1/8" diameter in the dome on the back side the start zone (where it says CE and Made In China). Put 5-6 holes in it.

  • woah how the hell do you name these locations

  • if you fall of when you are playing do you have to start from the start again.

  • i low key want one.

  • Finally finished from start to end after playing it for 2 months. Practice step 123 several times before you attempt a complete run.

  • I am getting one of those. I love those kind of things.

  • i brought one for my 8 years old son today and he just loves it. Thanks for design this great toy!

  • WORD OF ADVICE: Do not be a hero and start from 0 every time. Use the practice starts for this one. If you don't use the practice starts, the ball will break from wear and tear before you ever finish.

  • where to you buy these?

  • Can you make a video just like this one for the original and the rookie please? I really like this one and haven't found any other videos that are this in-depth about the other two. But I would like to see a video for the others. I really need help with the original on 60 to 100. Thanks for such an awesome toy!

  • My brain hurts

  • Micheal, well done on the photography and time spent on explanations. Only one part missing is you just jumped from entering the bucket at 90 and then started at 91. Would help a great deal on how to get out of the bucket to the 91 endpoint. Getting from 90 to 91 is not easy.

  • where can i get one it looks sooo fun !!? :)

  • Michael, I took my 7 yr old son out tonight and told him that he could have ANYTHING he wanted. We stumbled upon the Perplexus Epic in the first 2 minutes. 15 minutes later my son and I were still sitting in the isle playing.. my wife insisted that we look through the rest of the store before he was allowed to make a decision. Two circuits and 30 minutes later, my sons insistence paid off.

Hours later, he refuses to be interrupted. Thank you from both of us for the hours of fun.

  • @PenguinFury Lol, he cant seem to make it past the 19-20 reversal. I am so proud of his determination.

The critical thinking and hand eye coordination this promotes is honestly, second to no other toy. In my opinion.

  • I love your puzzle but the ramp thing at 117 (see 10:10) is no fun at all. I had a lot of frustration, but also fun, mastering every other section of this puzzle, but that one is all frustration and no fun. Too much luck involved. Given how infuriating this thing is, I don't think I will give out anymore as gifts. I'll just go with the standard model.

  • I just got my best score ever... 123. Yep, I died right at the end. One of the hardest challenges is saved for the very end of this insane puzzle.

HUGE TIP: get a magnet (maybe from the refrigerator) and you can trap and drag the ball to different spots to practice the really hard bits. For instance, you can easily trap the ball at the corner between 116/117, and that way you can quickly practice the ridiculous ramp/jump move at 121, over and over. No need to only use the 33, 56 and 92.

  • How do you open this? The cone came off and now I can't get further than 80 something.. Please respond I need to finish this and I love this little toy!!!!

  • I didn't wach the whole vid but I loved the part I saw. I have the original perplexes and I want the epic SOOO BADD I also heard that there is another perplexes for younger kids

  • I got it for Christmas and I have made it to 77 but i can't get past the forks. My dad and I are having a race to see who can get to 125 first. I am in the lead :)

  • I can't get past 6!

    :(

  • I made it to 20

  • i just ordered this online after playing with my nieces,8 years old. it is the original version and was a lot of fun. She got it for christmas from my mom. I mastered it in one shot after about 2 hrs. i cant wait to try my new epic. I sure hope you keep making these, bigger and better because I will definitely buy them!!!!

  • I just got this for Christmas, This is awesome!

  • Thanks to you I just ordered mine!

  • Anybody have suggestions for technique on the drop from 77 to 78? I haven't been able to figure out a reliable way to do this drop. From my point of view, I feel like I'm lucking out if I make it.

  • Dear Santa...

  • cool video... HOWEVER....... at the end of the video, you say you've 'completed epic'... i disagree... you haven't completed epic until you've gone from 1 through 125 without falling... not even one time........ when you've done THAT..... THEN you can say "I'VE COMPLETED EPIC!"... (still a cool video though... i'm still trying to complete epic myself!) :)~

  • I have a question about side 2 of the teeter tooter; is it supposed to be out of alignment do you know? Or is every Perplexus Epic just manufactured inconsistently? Because on mine, that obstacle seems practically impossible! I miss the scoop every time.. and I always wonder if it's just because the teeter tooter on mine is way more out of alignment than other Epics or something. :(

  • @gubbj I noticed this at the store today, not all of them are created equally. Some of them are off center causing it to be nearly impossible to do.

  • @mcface1111 if you're talking about the teeter totter, it was designed that way... you need to lean it to the correct side to get it to fall properly...

  • @gubbj yes... it was designed that way... you must lean to the correct side for it to fall correctly...

  • man you are good.

  • wow! very descriptive and patient! beautiful scenery too!

  • Hey Michael, I am the one who made the Perplexus epic 1-125 video that you commented on. I sent you some emails that probably said twindz@mac.com but my real email is jayce43z@gmail.com. Please email me soon!

  • was about to buy this, but after watching the video it looks like its not that challenging, thx for the video though.

  • @DerekP2050 i'll lend you mine, and i GUARANTEE you'll retract that statement....

  • I beat perplexus epic it was fun but hard to master like it said on the box when I got it.

  • I got the original 2 days ago and got to 100 I want the epic but i can't find it in stores. I guess I will just get it on ebay

  • @jlsl95 just got mine on ebay for $21.95 plus $6.95 shipping... be careful though.... some people are ROBBERS on ebay....

  • This probably sounds really lame but I can't get passed 5! I get stuck at the curved white thing and I always fall off no matter what I do! Do you have any suggestions because I've tried starting from other practice parts and I'm not bad it's just the curved things with two little bars?

  • @buca100 i do!!... you have to throw your weight the opposite way after you come off the curve and onto the rails

  • does anyone else mess up on 70? :c

  • I beat the rookie model 2 days ago, and just beat the original model today after 2 days of trying. I'm gonna start Epic tomorrow! So nervous! But your video really helped me gather some useful tips :)

  • Thank you! Now I know how to solve the up ramp! That ramp is REALLY Epic!

  • I...I don't even... I couldn't beat the first dang one! Now there's "Perpleux Epic"? I refuse to accept this! No making things until I fully beat the first one...jeez

  • you have amazing skill :D

  • good lord...and i thought the regular perplexus was hard!!! O.O

  • Hey Michael! I found myself forgetting to breathe on a couple of occasions whilst watching your video. I have just ordered the perplexus for myself - lets hope I have the patience you have.. Nice one!

  • SuperplexusDotCom you were right about the "cable car" the first time it is actually called the Carrige it said on the box that u get it in

  • I sat on my ass in walmart today for 3 hours trying to finish the Original Perplexus x3

  • I love the noise when the ball. Is rolling

  • on number 20 is it considered cheating if you balance yourself on the backside of the funnel

  • @ SuperplexusDotCom, camera suggestions if you want to try them I have a "go hero" camera we use it for all kinds of applications. you can mount it on a tripod, helmet, shoulder or even to your chest. Perhaps they might be in of interest to you for future tutorial videos.

  • ive gotten to the very last obstacle in ONE GO without stopping or using the checkpoints. 123-124 is such a bitch. the ski jump i can even do pretty consistantly... the very toughest obstacle is pretty much the very last one.

  • Where do you buy this

  • this makes my origional perplexus cry

  • Is this for sale or is it an unreleased prototype? Both ways I want one =3

  • @4dMuffin It's for sale. Making the perplexus product line family three.

  • @super8ben Awesome! Must get it soon.

  • thank you for making perplexus! I really enjoy it!

  • Is this for sale? If so, where could I find one and about how much do they go for?

  • how do you kow the names of the stages..?

  • @thelolman2000 He made it

  • @kinexkid he did not make it you dingleberry... it's the perplexus epic... china makes them... 30 bucks or so.

  • I love this thing

  • cool!!

  • this makes my perplexus cry :P

  • It appears im the 666th viewer...must be my lucky day lol

  • Whoo! Finally a sequel to the greatest toy/puzzle/game/doodad ever!

  • Looks like you really enjoyed the family picnic! JK, but seriously, how did you have the camera attached to your head?

  • @skresovs Shooting a demo video is tough when playing something that has to be right in front of you from your specific point of view. I filmed my "Perplexus Barriers 30 to 31" demo using my iPhone, held steady against a chair by my daughter, while I looked at the screen and played the game. This time, it was a much longer video, and I was not very skilled at playing Epic yet! So I purchased a helmet cam (Contour HD 1080P) and strapped it onto my bicycle hemet and played for about 4 hours!

  • WOW

  • that was pretty epic!

how do you have your camera attached to your head?

  • @luvcraft Hello Luvcraft, I posted a reply to this, above. Thanks for the question. I intended on grabbing a mirror and showing my ridiculous set-up at the end of the video, but then was in a rush and forgot. I must have looked really absurd filming in the park :-)

  • Nice demo! You should post it on Amazon.

  • AWESOME!!!

  • That is AWESOME (Epic)
