  • It must suck to have such a narrow view of reality. I think I now know where the phrase "Ignorance is bliss" originated from.

  • "The book of Genesis tells it as it is". A couple Genesis highlights. Abraham prostituted his half sister wife with two kings for personal benefit. He was ordered to sacrifice his son by God. Jacob scammed his brother and father in law. Lot commits incest with his two daughters. This is just the beginning of the Bible and a very brief example of the Genesis content. Yet this man wants us to throw away Darwin's 20+ years of research and 150 years of research behind it for biblical mythology.

Abraham never prostituted his wife.He just told them that she is His sister,so they don't kill him. That is not a personal benefit.God knowing Abraham's heart knew that his son was never going to die.It was a testimony to the angel's,Gen22:11.

Jacob's mother made Jacob go unto His father for the blessing.Jacob did not want to,but did as his mother commanded.

Lot was asleep drunk, when his two daughters slept with him.He did not even know what happened.

    Blah,U don't know crap

  • @goldnewizeagle I am sorry that you are an apologist for such myths. Allowing your wife to be sexually used, even if it's just for keeping your head on your shoulders, is still explotation of the female. The whole Isaac sacrifice command is just gruesome. Scam is still scam even if your mother tells you to and incest is still incest my friend. Alcohol intoxication is no excuse. Fundamentalism might be your problem and your arrogance about knowing crap is laughable.

3.Its not a scam when God told Rebekah that the oldest(Esau)would serve the youngest(Jacob)Genesis25:23.If Esau was going to inherit Gods blessing only because his father loved him for being a hunter&his venison.Thats ok because I forgot your perfect.

1.What would you do if you were 75yrs old and went into a dangerous territory,& that your wife was so fine that even the king took her to wife, all because a mystery voice told you to?

2.You were bored&there was drink that can relax your feelings. You would not drink because you may have a bad idea that your daughters may lay with you?

  • @gozaderadrfunk

All you do is blame imperfect people that are in the bible,&some how that proves the bible to be a myth& flawed? Are you perfect?Have you judged yourself like you have with those in the bible?Next time if you are able, try to prove the bible to be flawed not the people in itThe bible clearly says,we all are sinners&come short of the glory of God.It may make you feel better inside&escape God through how you feel by examples of your posts. In the end it will be all for not

  • @goldnewizeagle I'm not blaming people in the bible.I'm blaming the religious establishment that gains its power from these myths.I'm not perfect, but I'm a moral person because I want to,not because some church leader exploits guilt by saying that I'm a sinner and fear by saying that I'm going to hell. The use of these feelings shows how philosophycally bankrupt is christianity that has to use that kind of coercion to keep or enroll followers. Keep your sin and hell. It's your myth, not mine.

  • @gozaderadrfunk

Ok so now your not blaming people in the bible, but rather people that are not in the bible. What is the difference?.Your right, some so called Christians are that way,and Its fair to say those that are profiteering through religion are not Christians. But that does not mean if some are that way then so is the rest. The measuring stick that christians need to live by is Jesus. And He was all against money.Again I think your trying to make excuses, denying your conscience and God.

  • There is still hope after all.

  • Creationists got the ass whoopin they deserved.

And had to pay $2million in legals I believe.

    DUMBASSES!

  • The Dover decision was one of the most important rulings this country has ever seen. Judge Jones was ridiculed by Fundamentalist Christians for doing nothing more than upholding the U.S. Constitution.
