  • There shouldn't be shrapnel, maybe if you use a weaker metal like aluminum, but even that shouldn't shrapnel because black powder isn't explosive it just propels and the thermite won't really do anything in the pipe for that short of time. Id recommend using a steel, iron, or lead pipe

  • if you reall want to cause distruction, take one or 2 aerosol cans, fill a popcan with thermite,duct tape the pop can to the aerosol can(the more spray cans the better), stick a sparkler in the pop can for a wick, light it and run.. the thermite eats through the aerosol cans and BAMMMM...big explosion!
