I blame one pieces popularity in the USA on 4kids and CN.If CN had not canceled toonami One Piece would have more hype than naruto........if 4kids did not mess up OP so badly,Some of us not familar to the series [like me,at first!] might think it sucks......Thank god for subs though.....

FUNimation is dubbing the show from the beginning at the moment, you can't call them lazy, because you have no idead how much money it takes to get the voices for the game and translate too. I'm jsut as frustrated as you are that we still don;t have this game :/

But there's nothing we can do, i already wrote them letters about it, unfortunately none were answered.

well its been confirmed by EU players that theres no Funi VAs, just subbed. and unlike most PAL games where you can pick the language, you can't in this game. such as if i bought/imported this game from France, then the subtitles would be in French instead of english(or being able too pick), so if you are importing, be careful where you buy it from

exactly like by the time i found out one piece was dubbed my funimation it was like at episode 150-160 and thats when he stopped showing in america but i watch the dvds if they advertise ppl will know like all tehy advertised was the movie they did and the first voyage and thats it

And the intros are good attempts to translate the words even though they aren't quite perfect. Notably We Are doesn't have the sound effects for the combat part (feels empty there) and stuff. Still awesome...

Except some 4Kids actors were better... Some in my mind being Usopp (less FuniZKrillin please) and Zoro.

The most earbleeding thing is the script and how the scenes are rewritten. Actors are pretty good funnily enough.

And look... FuniDub + Sub confirmed XD.

really Usopps voice in 4kids was awful they made him a completr joke with stupid jason griffith with his speical voice pattern and he had no character development he just did puns everywhere 4kids suck... zoro 4kids was good but sabat suits him more imo...

Usopp in Japanese sounds more like 4Kids Usopp than he sounds like Krillin... >_> Generally, I don't want to compare a character I like so much to Krillin who is treated so badly in DBZ.

As for Zoro, it is undisputable that 4Kids had a better performance (plus crappy script)... Not just that, he sounds much more natural and very much like the JPN voice only speaking in English.
