I don't think this is sappy at all. This is actually really cute. I love how it's from the 70s!! I agree the modeling is so respectful and not to mention adorable. ahh Sam is sooo handsome!!!! :)
n13rvert, I will check out that film! It looks like it was made for TV according to IMDB. I came to admire Sam the first time I saw The Killing Fields.
I know what you mean about today's modeling world, thus I enjoy posting my vintage fashion magazine pictures at my corbyfans website. Your comment reminded me of the prophetic movie The Eyes Of Laura Mars and how that 70s film seemed to foretell where fashion photography was headed, and unfortunately where it's been stuck ever since.
What wonderful images. They're romantic and respectful of everyone. Contemporary modeling seems to be just a bunch of psychotic dysfunction (and a good chunk of violence.) Note: if you really want something swoonworthy, check out Waterston in Much Ado About Nothing. OMS*
Breathing slowly into a paper bag might help. ;-) This Sam Waterston video is inspiring entirely too much hyperventilating on the planet. The paper bag works effectively because it forces the person to breathe in the carbon dioxide rather than lose it into the atmosphere. To me, Samuel Atkinson Waterston really shined in his 1984 movie The Killing Fields. That's when I said, "Who dat?!" LOL
psychoboysaz, you and hundreds of others! LOL You've got good taste ...and I see you like Kate Bush also...she's a fave of mine. No, you're not crazy. Sam's a doll. I still can't get over coming across those fashion photos of him. I almost fell off my chair while perusing that vintage Mademoiselle mag. The pics were so romantic that this video created itself immediately. Those pics of Sam reminded me of a romance novel. Ha!
OMG he was SO beautiful as a young man. He's sexy now but then, WOW. And I'm sure that's just my opinion. Call me crazy but I would have married him and had 50 of his babies.
I almost didn't post this video because a friend said it was too sappy. But that gave me a cockamamie reason to post it! LOL Not to mention how shocking it was to come across these pictures in a vintage Mademoiselle magazine. Being a Law and Order fan, of course I had to post it. :-)
Thanks so much for posting. He's only gotten better with time.
