WHY does people leave their pets!

They try to live up to YOUR STANDARD for YEARS, and then you just LEAVE THEM IN A CAGE IN A SHELTER!?

And if its not adopted, it will be sent to death row.

DO NOT buy a dog, cat, or what not unless you will LOVE IT for the rest of its life.

We sponsered dog 2322 Paisley......her last day was Friday. We got a phone call from the shelter and they tol us that Paisley is now with a rescue group in Cleavland awaiting adoption. That made me cry AND HAPPY TOO.! we GOT THE GASSING STOPPED HERE AND OUR NEXT CAMPAGIN IS SPAY NEUTER. We are non profit and will load up on YT for the campagin The campaign is

UPDATE: Many dogs here now have partial or total sponsorship, many are free to rescues now but still need a rescue/adopter. 14 of the original dogs in this video are no longer at the shelter. There have been five new dogs added to their petfinder site. This truly seems like a never ending battle some days. PLEASE PLEASE SPAY/NEUTER. There are low cost clinics for this just about everywhere now. Please also don't shop for a pet while great dogs like these are dying daily in shelters everywhere.

I called and sponsered one of the dogs. I told them to put it to the dog most in need. I will find out next week which one so will let you know. I had some money for my birthday so am very happy to have saved a life. thank you for making this video. We are working very hard raiseing Spay/Neuter funding and getting education material in to this communty here. STOP THE BIRTHS TO STOP THE KILLING!!!!!!! Anyway hope that news cheers you up. This is indeed a terrible situation.....but it is going on in every state. The rescue groups here cannot handle what they have.

Anyone in rescue already knows this is not isolated to one area. I just happened to pick this shelter to start making these videos and if we successful get them out I will continue to make these videos and use this channel as a hub for people who can't stand to go into a shelter. A virtual shelter if you will. I have decided that rescues alone can not handle the numbers of animals in need due to space and money. So now I am going to the public with these videos and see what we can get done there

that is great news and also a brillinat way to get these animals a home. I agree alot of people find it hard to go into these places. The problem is everywhere an has to stop. We are calling people who adviitise their pets in the paper, free to a good home etc and tell them the situation in the pounds. We try and get them to rescue ther own animal It seems to be working so far. We give them other sugestions and recources Also we cannot keep enabling people , they have to take responsibility

In San Diego we just brought up over 100 dogs from Mexico and they are also in need of homes too.

For God's sake spay and neuter your animals. The kill rate for cats is now at 80 percent. All these animals are just born to die too. SPAY AND NEUTER ALL ANIMALS!

I wish every dog were to be as happy and blessed as ours, snuggled up warm at night at our feet, loved every moment of their day.

Please- before you breed your dog or buy a dog from a breeder or pet store, look at those faces in the video and know that most of them will die because there is not enough homes for them all.

If anyone adopts ors rescues one of these beauties please share with us. We all need a little encouragement. There are many other States with shelters needing help too and if we successfully get them adopted here (all of them I hope, paws crossed) then I know this has worked as I had hoped.

OK Folks I just called them, they are delighted with the respone but still need help. You or a group of friends can sponser a dog which will save its life. Please also be aware that NM is the 12th State to ban the gassing of animals so we have lot of states still gassing. Many in the public don't know that their ex-beloved pet if put in a shelter and not adopted will be killed by gassing until they suffocate 25 minutes till death.

This includes puppies and pregnant dogs too.

People need to spay and neuter their pets.

They also need to realize that fat cute little puppies quickly grow up into high-energy young dogs who need lots or exercise or they will chew up your things and wreck the yard in frustration. So many young dogs just out of puppy-hood are turned into shelters because they have more energy than their owners were prepared to cope with.
