  • This is insane!!

  • Oh my god!!

  • can somebody explain me how to connect the midi way to use both worldbuilder n' symphonic choirs?

PS: I connect my midi controller by the fast track pro interface

  • Kaa, meee, haa, meee, haaa

  • @bongvand2 loooooool

  • OMG Im sooo confused. I have logic 9 and symphonic choirs with word builder.(this version) I understand that im suppposed to lauch wb first. Check the midi I/O then run logic then open choirs from the Kontakt4 player through insert. Not only can I not hear the words I type but also the kontakt library only offers SC in the Altos voice. The voices play but dont sound too great. How can I run both standalone version and version with Kontakt 4 to use with logic and WB? Please help.. thanks

  • At 1:09 my jaw dropped.

  • Does symphonic choirs come with music maker? Because i dont just want to get my robotic choir to sing a few lyrics and then thats it, no base no music to go with it.

  • you still have to be a musician to be able to use this.

  • this is program not working with 64 bits any software .I am so sad

  • This is really great! I have Halion Symphonic Orchestra which does orchestrations very well, but I'm still stuck with plain old ooh and aah pads. This definitely cuts it.

  • I can not make wordbuilder to work, theres no sound not at stand alone not as a plug in (I have sonar). But I can make symhonic choir to work. Can you help me?

  • Do you have to have a MIDI keyboard set up or is there an internal keyboard that is available for use?

  • how much is this software?

  • @mustardgas2 448 $

  • @mustardgas2 More than my pc was new.

  • How do you put Wordbuilder in midi notes? I only sse you playing on the keyboard, can you play like a normal instrument?

  • Yowzer!!! Awesome stuff. Dread to think how much 30Gig of software costs though.

  • All this stuff might make studio musicians obsolete and live musicians on the scene still. Who would like to go to the opera and listen to a playback?

  • monster vst!

  • am i confused, or when he played a ve ma re a, did his fingers go the wrong directions? as in when the note went up he played a lower note.

  • @ksrhoads No, the video feed for that little window is flipped. If you'll notice, his computer keyboard is backward.

  • This is the best thing, man has created since the wheel.

    ._.

I want this, and I want it noaw!

  • @DMHR100 might be, that this clip was flipped vertically

  • thats cools

  • What the frick!? o.0

  • This is AWESOME! so going to get this

  • omg

  • Suddenly, I wish that I had learned to play a keyboard and gained a grasp of musical theory when I was a kid. I'd love to create my own ominous latin choir-type songs with this, but alas, I have no musical talent.

  • Why are there two types of EastWest QL Choirs? one Blue one and the other more Complicated (purple one) ?

  • This has to be the coolest vst ever

  • Is this software compatible with my Yamaha PSR - 275 ?

  • AMAZING!!! I am stunned by this!

  • holy shit thats was awesome!

  • O M G that is holly as hell, now i just gotta find it on FL

  • Hi Chris, I use Cakewalk to write music. And I write mostly in English and Chinese. How can I combine these programmes?

  • wa wa wi wa!!!!!!

  • omfg i need that...

  • Hi, great review again!! How would you use this with Logic Studio Pro? Would you have to set your orchestral score playing in logic, play exactly what you want in Symphonic Choirs, bounce the choirs into a wav and then import it into Logic Pro? Or is there anyway you can use it WITHIN logic (allowing for more editing)?

  • I NEED THIS SHIT, Thumbs up if you need it 2 ;)

  • I use Fl Studios, but this program sounds incredible!

You can hear some of the songs I've written at my channel if you're interested. :) There is definetly a difference in sound quality.

  • An amazing piece of software, will work very well in conjunction with other top quality music creation software.

Of course it's not here to replace a live choir, that's silly, it's here because not everyone has a choir at their disposal when they want :)

  • wow amazing

    we'll be out of job>>>>>>

    thank you

  • Wow.. that is crazy insane.

  • hello.. sorry man.. I would like to know if I can just use the wordbuilder.. or can I find small library? because the program is to mush gib.. thank u

  • hey i am trying to use logic with the symphonic choirs. how do i bounce the files? i can't find a way to after i write a midi.

  • Is this The EastWest Symphonic Choirs - PLAY Edition Virtual Instrument Software or is it the complete version ?

  • put it : work It maK iT mak ses

  • Maaan! I want this! O:

  • woOow....ive bn looking for something exactly like this!!!! does it have to b connected to a midi keyboard, or can it b used in just computer software, like FL Studio or something?

  • How coust that? its expensive?

  • @nunoslbbcb11 ~ 500 Dollars, 40 GB

  • WOW

  • Oh man thank you for this. I have my EWQLSC on the way now and I was so worried the wordbuilder was going to be a pain. The guys at Eastweast just keep blowing me away with their products. The ease of use and astounding quality is just unbelievable. People never believe me when listening and they ask "Who is this?" and I tell them..."Me".

  • Hi !

I have the software and wordbuilder. However (i'm a rookie) I have no keyboard and want to use the virtual keyboard in symphonic choirs. However the only sounds that plays is a piano sound instead of the choirs... I don't see how to do. Please help!!!

  • How do you connect it to a keyboard? I have a piano, how can I connect it?

  • Oh I forgot to mention, whenever I spell words in Speech Programs, I always phoenetically spell it rather than spell it out correctly. Laine Kaminski, I just left it alone, but make BonziBUDDY say it lane comminske just for fun. Jordan Tyra, I made Genie say it like 'Jaw-Dun Thai Wraa'.

This piece of software is pretty interesting and actually emulates a real choir rather than a text to speech robot haha!

  • I used to do this with Microsoft Agent Scripting Helper (MASH) and make BonziBUDDY and Genie sing my girlfriends name 'Laine Kaminski and Jordan Tyra' in each note, then put it in a SoundFont bank. Then I showed my friends in school on my MP3 player myself playing their names in chords and they were all amazed of making my piano sing those girls names. Everyone thought it was a great invention! LOL!

This was back in Middle School when I was 15 in the year 2005.

  • @milkmusic78 terrible ethics? What do you mean? You made me very curious.

  • Wow amazing, but thirty gigs its pretty intense!

  • (@.@) WANT!!!!!!!

  • НА FL Studio9 его можно установить?

  • I have 2 questions!

1: I'm using choirs kompakt version too but the library isn't loading into it!

I went to the options and doublechecked the directory and that the files were there (NKS/NKC files only right??)

    2: Word Builder doesn't load into Cubase 4 32bit! I'm on Win 7 64bit btw.

Anyone know what I need to do? pleease!

  • that's mindblowing.....

  • this is much better than VotA.

  • Amazing programme. If you recorded 1 or 2 real singers in the mix I bet the overall sound would give you as authentic as you'd need for most purposes!!!!

  • amazing ..........i need this

  • wow i need this :D

  • 30 gig you say . . . pretty amazing. will all musicians be out of jobs soon?

  • @nilsand

to some extent but i am a musician and without this type of software i would be out of a job.

    regards Chris

  • Yes, I know what you mean. I use these plug-ins too. But we compose, I mean the people who would have played or sung the parts . . .

Still you need good skills to use it in a natural and tasteful way.

    :-)

  • @floridamusiccompany .. hahahaha good one. this software is just amazing . thanks for the up :)

  • @floridamusiccompany i think he means musicians that play real instruments hehe

  • @floridamusiccompany I have a question .. Will this work in logic since logic does not support 3rd party vst's .. But it supports audio units instead .. and alot of the very expensive vsts install them so logic can use them... Will this work with this software?

  • @floridamusiccompany Strongly agree. There's no substitute for the real thing, assuming they show up to gigs, don't charge an arm and a leg for an hour of your time, practice their parts, don't have a drug problem, don't get into a fight with another member of the ensemble, and don't constantly interrupt with "hey, do you know what would be cool right here?"

Failing that, I like powering on my computer and creating what I want. I love the age we live in.

  • @nilsand nothing will ever replace live music.

  • @nilsand Chris is correct, I don't think that we will ever be able to sample or make a mock up that can emulate the true authenticity of real musicians using digital audio. What software like this does, is help us as composers, directors, musicians, ect. create / hear our compositions before sending them to the musicians for recording (or playing with acoustic instruments). Composing the old fashion way just isn't quick enough by today's standards. We have to meet our deadlines, which are short.

  • @Darksector88: Its not a question of "if" - it's entirely possible to emulate any sound using a computer. Its really a question of whether anyone could be bothered to write the software needed to physically model the real world and project sounds into it.

  • can any1 tell me a simpler, less involved program that can just do the "oh" and "ahh"'s ?

    thx

  • I thought Voices of the Apocalypse will have good pronunciation...

  • OH MY GOD! EPIC! ... i must have it!

  • ha ha. sold!

  • Oh wow, that's way better than Vocaloid. Vocaloid can't pronounce that clearly. xD

  • really fantastic...

  • dear God..

  • Wow. Musicians are on the way out...

  • ....back to their rooms, composing a symphonic orchestra piece.

  • wow i totally need this :D

  • i just bought this. just waiting till i have another 70 bucks to get a ilok security usb key. so i have it all installed. so close to being able to use it. ahh. pain in the ass haha

  • @blastdrone how much did u pay?

  • that's really good :D

  • This is awesome!!should this work on a mac dual core intel???thanks peace

  • works just fine :)

  • get a job haha

  • Impressive, sounds soooo real.

  • OH MY GOD UNBELIEVEABLE

  • OMG thats crazy....

  • Ive got em both and there worth the space getta tb buddy 89 bux best doe u'll ever spend!

  • 37 gigabytes... They're insane.

  • Omnisphere is 75 gigs :)

  • That's nothing. Vienna Symphonic Cube is 550 GB. Beat that!

  • holly shit, yep that tops it

    is it an awesome vst?

  • I don't have it, but it's the best symphnonic orchestra library. It costs like $12,000-13,000 and requires at least two multi-core computers hooked up to eachother to run properly with their MIR engine. They also recommend 24 (!) GB of RAM. It's just insane.

  • they have completely different uses... dont compare them

  • @Vipmaxp

I was responding to a guy who was comparing the size of Omnisphere to the size of this EastWest Choirs collection. I just let him know that there's much bigger collections out there than both of those. Don't be a smartass.

  • @sheebshag

yeah but takes centuries to install

  • Well even if Spectrasonics doesn't have any feature for lyrics... its still amazing... I'd choose it over EastWest any day really.

And I'd get Omnisphere too =P mega piece of software that is!

  • personally I think Spectrasonics Symphony of voices sounds better... But don't know if it has this lyrical typing feature...

  • there is no konpakt for rtas on mac , to use the library you need kontatk, how can i do something like this using kontatk?

  • 30 gigs. Eek!

  • 38 :)

  • yea where can i get it????

  • wwaw

  • forgive my ignorance... but is virtually impossible to work with the program WITHOUT the keyboard right?

  • no it isn't impossible, if you have for example fruity loops you can play the melody with piano roll

  • No no, it's possible, I don't have any keyboard and I make very cool music! ;)

  • and how you do that?

  • You make the midi files in noteworthy composer, or finale, or sibelius, etc... and you render them with the program; you must put note by note with your mouse :)

  • Damn!!!!! note by note, i guess that's the price for not having keyboard. lol.

  • Yes! It's hard, but... you know? you can do wonderful things (browse my other channel: user/symphonicinstruments), I made it only note by note. Personally, I won't expent so much money in a keyboard that doesn't sound like my Virtual Instruments; what I preferred was to buy the Creative Prodikeys keyboard (about 60 USD, can't remember), and you can record live. I sell virtual instruments, visit my other channel.

  • Umh, no. The Play Edition is way better.

  • i wanne make a hip hop beat with this programm can i use this with fl studio or cubase

  • It comes in VST format so yes.

  • for sur, they both accept vst plugins =)

  • HOLY CRAP

  • Fuck yea man! Holy Crap!!!

  • Hi, I have correctlly installed worldbuilder but when I open it , there is no sound .

What should I do ? thx

  • link WordBuilder to the nki file that located in Symphonic Choirs directory folders.

  • what are to chords in 1:42 ?

  • thats fucking sick:P

  • Wow... doesn't sound like the Play edition at all...

  • How so?

  • was just comparing

  • This might be a handy vst

  • LOL..the first thing I'd want to do is get it going "pie jesu domine...donna e is requiem....BONK!" from Mony Python/Holy Grail. Seriously though, mindblowing piece of kit, i want it.

  • have got this program and have been trying to configure with wordbuilder for a week now and cannot get them to talk to eachother, can anyone help with this issue?

  • Are you running it standalone/in a sequencer?

  • got it to work without mod wheel in standalone using midi yoke, would love to run it in pro tools or Sony ACID with full use of mod wheel.

  • Not sure if this helps, but I remember when messing with voices of the apocalypse that you needed a giga compatible card. Don't know if thats your issue. Or maybe it's you need Giga studio for the text to work.

  • Comment removed

  • That is just amazing !! i am speechless (pun not intended !!).

  • OMG! Amazing...

Anybody know if there are serious/better alternatives to this, that can do the spelling too? Best VST Choir I come across this far, I think!

  • None I can think of,there are VSTis out there that accept text and whatnot but they're not Choirs.

  • imagine owning the FULL East West AU libraries. Something like 500 GB??? basically, you can sell a beat to whoever you want, or whatever movie you'd like.

  • damn i NEED this

  • i so bbadly want that but its too uch money

  • This is brilliant, but I don't see it on the new Play versions? I just got Silver and Gypsy... what I really want now is Stormdrum2 and THIS! But can't find it ;(

  • This software sent a shiver down my spine. I've been looking for software like this a for a long time.

  • WOW this is awesome im blown away i didnt even know such technology existed haha
