That is AWESOME!!!!!!!!!! hahahahahahaha those of you who believe global warming is a real threat because of human influence are sadly mistaken.... look up The Medieval Warm Period or (MWP) and the amount of change that happened in the time period... this is proof that the earth goes through cycles of warm and cold periods and even mini ice ages following warm periods.

Imagine how a child would see this, for example my younger sister and other children of around her age (10-14)
they are aware of what is going on around them. this stops them being able to sleep at night, some wet the bed because they heve nightmares about the world burning up. its just not fair on them.
@xefkillme yes, it is the parents responsibility to educate and clarify, however (also in relation to your Haiti example) it should also be made clear to children and the general public that we are not facing doomsday. If these "spots" had a balanced or in any way down to earth approach to the problem i am sure we would have less trouble working together to fix whatever the problem my be.
Its just like now on Haiti, the kids must get information about earthquakes and the real situation on Haiti, and at the same time reassure that earthquakes in such magnitude are very rare and mostly limited to some regions of planet...

Well, yeah that is also true, there are many "spots" that are only based on fear or something like that to shock the public.
About the kids is parents responsability to explain them what such videos means and not tell them fairytails or as you said scare them.
