It's this exact reason that TNA is failing: no matter what they do, the IWC is going to either hate it, or blindly love it. I've always thought TNA's biggest problem was the fact no one outside the wrestling world knows what it is. Hulk Hogan is not going to be dominating the title. He will most likely help get TNA on track, and with the increased ratings, TNA can have some breathing room, rather than "paycheck to paycheck".

There is no way Hogan will pull the crap he did in WCW. Eric Bischoff signing is a huge deal for them... although, he's going to be doing more of a backstage role (not creative, business-side of things). I think if they're smart they will eventually have Bischoff on TV as a personality... he's just TOO GOOD not to. Hogan is a huge draw. No question about it. They will have more PPV buys and steadier ratings - Hogan just adds that "IT-Factor" that makes a company 'interesting'. Good signings..

I agree with practically everything you say in your videos... people will blow this Hogan signing out of proportion. It's not like he's going to sell-out buildings and main event the next big PPV... but he will bring something to the table that will help TNA as a whole and not hurt them. Where in the vid did I say it was a bad thing? There are bad things that come with Hogan but I didn't bring them up at all. Also Hogan being the center of WCW really helped WCW before Hall and Nash didn't it. It all depends on how its used. This is the kind of thing that might help TNA short term, but damage them seriously long term.
We all know part of the reason WCW failed was the backstage politics and people putting their own egos in front of the company. Guys like Nash and Hogan were the heart of that problem.
TNA just went through a year of watching a bunch of 45-50+ year olds being constantly put over the younger talent. They are finally turning the table and don't need to see Captain Atomic Legdrop ruin that.

Maybe all this will inspire WWE to finally raise the bar? But more likely, Vince will laugh it off and continue to bury his head in the sand until TNA actually does become dangerously close to toppling the sports entertaint giant sometime in the next decade coming up. Also, TNA is kind of lucky that Stephanie and Triple H are in charge of WWE creative because those two are idiots and will turn to John Cena to save WWE like Stone Cold did more than a decade earlier.

I'm not a TNA fan, but I'm fucking excited about this. Hulk Hogan is the biggest name in pro wrestlign ever, and one of the biggest cultural icons ever. I'm from Denmark and every links wrestling with Hulk Hogan.
If he doesn't get power hungry and TNA only uses him as an on screen character to draw in old/new fans, then hook them with their already fantastic roster, they could really start to grow.
And Bischoff is a fucking genius. He can help aswell.

tna is not going anywhere but up! ok most of all tna will get to the top fast. although it may be smart not to start with a monday show I think they should go up against smackdown first because impact and smackdown are pretty close in ratings. btw for all you marks ratings doesnt make a good wrestling company its actually the wrestling its self that makes it better then wwe. so wwe can have their huge spotlight but in the end they will still be the crapiest company/show on earth

It's this exact reason that TNA is failing: no matter what they do, the IWC is going to either hate it, or blindly love it. I've always thought TNA's biggest problem was the fact no one outside the wrestling world knows what it is. Hulk Hogan is not going to be dominating the title. He will most likely help get TNA on track, and with the increased ratings, TNA can have some breathing room, rather than "paycheck to paycheck".

There is no way Hogan will pull the crap he did in WCW. Eric Bischoff signing is a huge deal for them... although, he's going to be doing more of a backstage role (not creative, business-side of things). I think if they're smart they will eventually have Bischoff on TV as a personality... he's just TOO GOOD not to. Hogan is a huge draw. No question about it. They will have more PPV buys and steadier ratings - Hogan just adds that "IT-Factor" that makes a company 'interesting'. Good signings..

Pros: Hogan and Bichoff along with giving TNA more exposure will probably give them more incentive to improve their production values and how they present their product.
Cons: Well we have all heard stories on how Hogan operates backstage. Also there is a good chance that Hogan's personal drama could become a problem for TNA

If you think Hulk going to TNA isn't good then your mad, the tna product is more stale and more depressive to watch than ever. Where in the vid did I say it was a bad thing? There are bad things that come with Hogan but I didn't bring them up at all. Also Hogan being the center of WCW really helped WCW before Hall and Nash didn't it. It all depends on how its used.
