This was a great DBZ game and my second favorite for the PS2 games. The Dragon Rush is annoying, but me and my friends that play this game hardly ever use it. The way they did the story was also really bad. I mean the first and the second Budokai games had animated cutscenes that were done great, but this one was just done so lazy. I love when games allow you to blow up the planet or the stadium.

I played this series from the time i was about 6 til the time i was about 12. (budokai 1-3) I really didn't like budokai 2 that much, the movements made it feel like a board game and i liked budokai 1 the best til 3 came out.

This is the best Dragon Ball Z game made in my opinion. The gameplay is akmost perfect. The only thing I disliked was the power struggles for the Ultimate Moves, they were just annoying. Other than that I still enjoy this game to today.

The "burst mode" you refer to is won by whoever can rotate the joysticks on their controller in a circular motion the fastest. So it doesn't really give you a break considering it's the biggest workout on my hands in the game. Especially when you are watching your buddy rotate his and you're trying to keep up but not get tired.

nah tenkai 2 is so much better than tenkai 3 tenkai 3's story mode is to quick and its gay u basically get every character in under like 5 hours. tenkai 2's story mode is long and hard. u have to keep doin it to get all the characters in the game. moves are better and so r the characters

tenkaichi >> budokai, easily.

i enjoyed budokai 2 and 3, untill tenkaichi came out... tenkaichi 2 in particular.

while budokai is a nice attempt to place db in a generic street fighter style '2d' fighting game, tenkaichi captures the spirit of the show, and feels so much more like a dbz fight than budokai. I guess thats why there's another raging blast comming out and not another burst limit. (though i'm not defending glitchy raging blast).

good point. ive pretty much changed my mind. budokai tenkaichi 3 is good but the ultimate attack graphics are kinda weak (im mainly going off the graphics from the second one and about 5 playings from the third so please don't get mad at me for innacuracy). budokai has better graphics and you don't get the same look when you blow up a planet.
