This was the most imaginative and visceral sci-fi show I've ever seen. Epic in scope and intent. Great acting. Great stories, mostly. The more I watch it, the more I'm so saddened that it was ended so PREMATURELY. A 3rd season would have made it more bearable. But only 2? I may have to force myself a long hiatus, or else I'm going to drive myself into misery.
@spartandud3 I guess tv ppl want to can good shows so they can air stupid ones they can get paid more for airing. Too many good shows are getting or got canned. and a lot of the ones i like to.
SGU is freakin' amazing. I'm not a fan of "Flogging Molly", but I will give props to the show using this song. It totally suits the situation and mood of Destiny's crew.
Cry Babies In Space, ere I mean SGU, is the exact opposite of Stargate SG1. If the SG1 team was on Destiny they would have already figured out how to repair the ship, would have flown back to Earth and probably destroyed 20 evil alien races on the way back all the while cracking hilarious jokes about the Wizard of Oz and Homer Simpson. Instead all they do here is cry and bitch and moan. Bunch of Liberals in space.
@slarmas yeah, i know right? or like in Stargate Atlantis they could have just modified the systems and turned the hyperdrive into a wormhole drive and been home in the blink of an eye XD
I love this show, and the song fits this episode so well, in my opinion.
Life is hard for them. Survival was the only thing on their minds, and the constant worry had driven some to extremes. Then the aliens had come. Much worse than yesterday, in my opinion.
The characters are great too. Not all of them are heroes, not all of them are cut out of the right cloth. The stress drives some past their breaking point, especially when they're needed most. Young vs. Rush, for example.Thats trouble

I didn't hate the show. But I didn't like it either. To be honest, I really hated the set colors for some weird reason. The rest just bored me.
This bit was ok, but the level of fan service is a bit much.
