  • Hi, is it similar to a Civic 2001?

  • @FFlyMan The 2001 Honda Civic may be a little different. The process to remove it would be the same, such as you need to remove the door panel and tape up the window etc.

  • Hi, your videos are really good and informative. Both my driver side window and passenger side window in my Accord coupe will not work using the buttons on the driver side. However, the passenger side window works if I use the button that is on the passenger side. Is this fixed by replacing the regulator on the driver side or is it a different part that I should be replacing?

  • @donmoocao It could be the master switch that has gone bad or you might have a broken wire between the door and body of the car. I would check there for any broken or frayed wires. Hope this helps you out.

  • When reattaching the watersheild do you need any sort of glue or adhesive to make sure it's sealed???

  • @BenVereen2020 You can re-use the sealer that's already on the plastic. It usually will stacy tacky for you.

  • is this the same for two door accord????

  • @damnwindowshopper It should be the same as the two door shown. If it isn't if should be very close. Hope this helps you out.

  • there are 2 cables that run from the motor to the top of the regulator and one to the bottom of the regulator, once everything is connected should there be any slack in the bottom cable?

I'm trying to figure out if i've received the right regulator and motor or not?

  • @colinb326 There may be a little slack, but there shouldn't be much at all.

  • thanks! so helpful!

  • What do u do if the window motor will let the window go down.. but not up? I've tried to press the button up and pull but it won't move

  • @Waterpolodude3 If you need to replace the window regulator you can take the door panel off and try to push up on the window from inside of the door. If this doesn't work you could cut the window regulator cable, then that should free the window up so that you can then push it into the up position and tape it into place. Hope this helps you out.

  • @1aauto Yeah, this is what I needed to do to my car, I ordered the part for an 04 on your website, much cheaper than the dealership, they wanted like 250 for the part and 150 for labor

  • @matthewvonhofen Thank you for checking us out. Have a great day!

  • GREAT vid! Very helpful!

  • I want to THANK YOU so much for this video. It took me about 3.5 hours with some help from a neighbor. The sticky stuff that holds the plastic liner up is extremely messy, so anyone doing this should wear old clothes & take care to avoid getting it on you.

  • Thank you very much for this video.

  • Great video. They shipped fast too, on the windows regulator I had purchased from 1A Auto!

  • Really appreciate you doing this video.

  • Thanks! I replaced my 2002 Accord's front-passenger-side window regulator in less than an hour.

  • Yes , Thank you much for this video you saved me a lot of time/ headaches trying to figure out how each part comes off and how the new 1 goes on. Great tutorial

  • Thank you so much for this video, just replaced my regulator in about 2 hours. This is one of the best tutorials I have ever used. Again thanks.

  • Excellent tutorial. As soon as I finished watching I ordered the window regulator from you. Your assistance saved my about $300 which is important during these times. Thanks 1A Auto.

  • How about a 2004? Much different?

  • I just did this on my 2000 Accord EX v6. My regulator was different, and ordered it online for $60. Just took 4 hours after studying this video. Make sure you have all the tools, grease, sealer glue for rain guard, and painters tape next to you. I also had baggies for the different families of screws, and I used tape to label the wire connectors. Thanks 1a-auto!
