and tighten the 2 allen screws to keep it from slipping or making noise, thats what the allen scews do is assist the drum key screw in holdin the rod where u set it without slipping !!!
@DaFuckinSchwartz , I'm amazed of how common this issue is with some Axis pedals owners, in my hometown there's only one guy besides me who owns an axis and he has the same problem, but... I would like to know if it depends on how old the pedals are... I got mine in february of this year and I use to play with them only once or twice a week, I have set the drive-shaft since the moment I got them and never moved it again in these 8 months, and it's still tight as shit :P
i dont own an axis..this is my idea 1st fix the length of the shaft then drill a hole on the shaft exactly where the lock and the shaft meets..so that the inner shaft wont move after u tighten it.
@Deathhunter992 Yeah, I called them up and sent out the piece. Definitely great customer service! However my problem still persists even though they said they fixed it. But its whatever now lol
@Deathhunter992 They said they loosened them up a bit. But when I got the shaft but it did the same thing as before. So now I just leave the shaft on the pedals which you aren't supposed to do, but I'd rather do that then spend all that time to get them to not fuck up on me xD
@gunglitcher Yeah I guess. You should call them again and ask them to replace the drive shaft with a new because its still not working correctly, and if the same thing keeps happening then it has got something to do with the pedals themselves.
@Deathhunter992 Good idea! I'll probably give them a call during the week so I can get it sorted out. I just can't send it out because my band has got a couple shows coming up and these are the only pedals I got lol
@gunglitcher I know what you mean. I just sent off my spring assembly for repair/Replacement and have to miss practice because they're the only ones i've got. :P
@Deathhunter992 Yeah dude it sucks ass, another part of my pedal is fucked up also. Its the little latch thing to hook the pedal to the bass drum, but luckily its the one on the Left side so I don't really need it lol. But yeah dude, it sucks I hate missing practice and such :\ what type of style is your band?
@gunglitcher Well, At the moment its mainly rock and kinda modern stuff. Its just for parties and stuff. We used to be playing a lot of death metal. Big change! :P
