@ZZZANNAMARIYZZZ There's different opinions on it. To be fair, it sounds to me more like Kitty Howard- young, naive, easy-going; however, it could be Anne Boleyn as asily- sarcastic, witty, accepting her fate.

@pinko666 Definitely not about Marie Antoinette. Marie was never bitter towards Louis XVI, in fact she was rather fond of him. It's quite obviously about Catherine Howard, the fifth wife of King Henry VIII. She was "sold" to him at the age of 16, and was killed by the time she was 17. At the time of marriage, Henry was in his late 50's, thoroughly overweight, with a weeping ulcer on his leg. Upon all this unpleasantness, he also didn't have such a great history with women.

I'm 16 now, I couldn't imagine what it must have been like, marrying and sleeping with a man who was old enough to be her father... but, I know for a fact this song is not about Marie Antoinette.
