@moveitnick think you'll find it was written by David Foster around 1980 (ish), who has also produced alot of Michael Buble's songs/albums. Although, i'll agree,Cliffs version is the first I ever heard.

He cries often when he sings it - I as well believe it's his "ode" to Lu. He defitely feels it when he delivers it and there have been shows where he cn't sing it bc eitherthe crowd is too loud during it or he's not in the right frame of mind to do so.

Saw him this past Saturday. He didn't sing it but he sang it the night before at the same venue. His emotion is so raw and genuine. I think this is another reason why we all love his music. Absolutely beautiful.

It's an older song written by Michael's producer, David Foster. I believe it was originally done as a duet by Foster and Olivia Newton John. I'm sure there's a YouTube video of it somewhere!

There's a version of this song posted by btzbuble where it's obvious that he's crying. I'm not sure he was during the performance I saw, but I sure was! Hopefully this one will make the cut for the next album. It's a stunningly beautiful song, and Michael really brings it home.

i saw him in Oakland, CA last night and I wish he sang this song. He was about to sing it, but I think he changed his mind because we couldn't settle down. Beautiful! Watching this brought tears to my eyes, too. I like to think that this is also a song for us, his fans. If you think about it, it took MB along time to get to where he is and I certainly think that he saved the best of him for us in the process:)
