@farerse If you look, Bobby's arm is still voluntarily moving after the impact. I'm not saying he walked away without a scratch, but his "demise" was the only possible non-fatal of the whole gangs demises. There is a good chance he survived, as you see dumb people getting hit by cars and living.

Also, I don't think Bobby was arrested. There was only one cop car pursuing them in a high speed robbery chase. And when they get to the steel mill, there are no units available for backup. Good?

@RichV20 This is how I think it happened: Bobby flew, hit the car and then the ground as we saw. He was hurting but still alive. I think the cops picked him up later when backup finally did arrive, (too late for Murphy but that is another discussion) took Bobby to the hospital and then to jail.

Tossing poor Bobby always seemed a bit pointless to me: When the Police car was close enough to fling some chap onto its bonnet it was certainly close enough for half a dozen well-trained gunmen to attack it succesfully with their arms. After all: When it is close enough to "shoot" it point blank with a gunman a gunshot might as well do the job. But then it was probably more about showing what a nasty guy old Clarence Boddicker is.
