yes, Jesus sacrificed his life and "gave it up"..... But the reason we die is because of sin.; Jesus had the power to take it back up His Life again, because he lived a perfect Life and fulfilled the HOLY REQUIREMENTS of the Law; Hence he had NO sin. He was resurrected by the Father and all power is given to Him. Death did not have enough power to prevent the Father from raising Christ from the Dead.  The Lord God Himself is our Redeemer and Saviour from the eternal penalty of sin

Jesus is our kinsman Redeemer, who can pay our ransom to God, with His death rather than ours. "Praise be to the LORD, who this day has not left you without a kinsman-redeemer. May he become famous throughout Israel!" Ruth 4:14

it seems one of the differences is the view of sin between muslims and christians along with other things but that seems to be the heart of it.

Man was disobedient to GOD man fell, so he was cast out of the garden seperated from GOD , sin seperates man from GOD , GODs plan to save man clearly shows his love, in the old days animals would be sacrfice but GOD no longer desired the burnt offerings So Jesus Christ died so that we may be saved.

A sacrifice without blemish meaning one without sin.

What rich man would give everything for a poor man I mean everything can we agree none.

But GOD did who can be called savior only GOD.

we are hostage to our sin, being held to ransom by god, but has to sacrifice himself to pay that ransom. hmmm.interesting
