I actually like the new design for Zack. It seems that he is from the Hercules World in the KH continuity, so of course he's going to look the part. Also, his "be a hero" dream fits with the theme of Disney's Hercules (what it means to be a Hero), so smart move on SE's part. This takes place before KH, so we're likely to see the beginning of Cloud and Sephy's enmity in this game.
