Only just got a U Tube account, so these are new to me - but all as brilliant as your Flickr stills, you've picked the absolute best incidental music for them all! Particularly liked the Central Viaduct video, as it's always been one of my favourite structures in Leeds. Did you also get any pictures of the Engine Lift (I think that's what it was...) which carried locomotives up and down from the higher to lower levels? Thanks, as ever, Phill! Regards, Minxy Pie.

I grew up in Holbeck in the late 1950s and remember the Central Station & the approach viaduct very well. Never dreamed that I'd see the view from the top, though! My mother worked at Monkbridge engineering for several years.

Thanks for helping to preserve some of the Leeds heritage for our enjoyment. Well done to you all.

My father, and my ex-wife's father both worked at Monkbridge. I've been there a few times, and pass the site occasionally, but have never seen any of this.

I think such videos are essential to keep the history of the City of Leeds.
