What are your main Ditto strategies? I'm curious because I really want to implement a ditto into my team because I love the little guy so much, I'm just not sure what the best way to get the most out of 'im is...

@eggdude9 Whatever strategy I use with Ditto depends on what my opponent is using. Sometimes, I'll use Transform and morph Ditto into its teammate, but I much more often pick an opponent's Pokémon.

From there, I learn what the copied moves are and come up with a plan on the spot to make use of those moves in conjuction with Ditto's partner.

Ditto holds a Quick Powder. It doubles Ditto's Speed.

Anyways . . . you play Ditto like a FIEND! I've got a lot to learn from you. Great play copying the intimidate ability! There is nothing cooler then slaying your opponents team with their own pokemon.

Yeah, Ditto can't be played like any other Pokémon. You need to constantly adapt and understand as there are as many ways to use Ditto as there are strategies out there. I've also noticed Ditto becoming a pretty ice buffer if someone has a defensive Uber Pokémon out, such as Giratina or Arceus.

And no, I can't figure out "that kid."

The Print Screen allows you to save an image of the computer screen. Anything you put in, I can save onto my computer.

You definitely can. Once you use Transform, you can pick another move.

Ditto copies the opponent's stats except for HP. That's why it could keep up with the Mightyena it copied.

A rental pass has Pokemon pre-selected and can't be exchanged. If you start playing PBR from the beginning, you have a choice of 2 passes from the start. The the other 4 you must obtain later on in Gateway Coliseum.

Sorry your router died on you in your battle. And if you don't know, a tag battle is like a double battle, except two trainers team up and each use a Pokemon against two other opponents. It's used in Emerald, a game I don't think you have. Thought I let you know.

There's a reason why Ditto is overlooked. Smeargle. It gets Transform, has better stats (in the areas that matter for Transforming) and can do other stuff before it transforms. (i.e. Spore) And I'm positive it CAN sketch Transform, every major website says it.

Don't let that stop you from using Ditto though, Quick Powder certainly has its uses in Doubles.

Only question is, how come that pass has 4 of the Nate pass's Pokémon (the 3 evolved starters and Gabite) while the other 2 Pokémon (Mightyena and Rotom) appear to be from other rental passes? Is there a method for moving Pokémon from one rental pass to another?

You can freely move Pokemon from one Rental Pass to another.

Heck yeah, finally someone else sees the light in Ditto's usage for double battles. Can't tell ya how I've loved using the little guy in my own battles on PBR...it's so fun to use 'em sometimes. Sure he's outclassed by lots of other things, but that don't stop me from using him. Also I like using him just to see 'em pop out of its Heal Ball lol. My own Ditto uses Qucik Claw. It may be a "Hax" item, but it gets its uses every now and then...heh.

Quick Powder only works when a Ditto is holding it, as soon as it transforms it is useless. (The Item not Ditto lol.)

Rental teams are basically suicide on Wi-fi. This explains why you should NEVER get PBR in the first place if you dont have the DS games
