I REALLY don't think it's about "look at what I stole" like you think. Artifacts are best preserved by countries with the best technologies. It's an art's and history thing. Which traverses the notions of conquest. I'm sure they would give them up to responsible and stable keepers if they existed. Most Artifacts are destroyed in a decade or two when simply placed in a dark drawer which is still exposed to the atmosphere and little bugs and creatures. We should thank them!!!!
