Carrie stuck to the original melody of the song and didnt add a thousand runs causing her to forget the lyrics and go off key every 10 seconds like christina.

Carries does a wonderful job here. While I love most of the different versions sung or played by various artists, hers is so lovely and straightforward - you could teach a child or a new citizen the anthem just by listening to her. Nice that there's still room for a traditional version like this in the public's hearts (judging by the number of "likes" on this video).

I looooove the fact that Carrie sticks true to the original melody of the anthem. My only thing is that I wish she wouldn't use her head voice on the "land of the free" verse. We all know that she is capable of belting it out without it. If she didn't, she would without a doubt be the best interpreter of the national anthem.
