  • Thumbs up if you pressed mute :)

  • Why does every good climbing video on youtube have shit - ass music in the background!!! Do you really think Sharma has Rap music going on in his head as he climbs!!!

  • "First try"

  • The NRG is my home crag. The route " Proper Soul " is located at endless wall in an area called The Cirque. What makes the Cirque so hard is it overhangs 45 degrees practically the whole way up - 120 feet. The routes are all bouldery and technical. It really puts into perspective how good Sharma is. Standing under this route, As I have many times before, you wonder " how is this climbable? ". And here Sharma rolls up, puts his shoes on and sends it. Amazing.

  • This is just the oddest music choice. No slag on the song, but I don't get how it fits in anyway.

  • @hoey77 it's "travelin" by elle dirty d lux

  • wicked climb, but who is the music artist???

  • This is really a great moment in American sport climbing. Yes, it's at the new. This particular sector has a lot of tall and difficult lines as you could probably guess. This climb in particular is just not something you'd look at and think, "Yea, I bet someone could onsight that." It's a mean, tall tall, leaning skyscraper of a climb and looks complex as well. Just remarkable.

  • gotta love the gorge

  • great climbing but not a true onsight. onsight means walking up to the start and doing it first attempt placing protection as you go, means carrying a rack of quickdraws at least, no pre-placement on rappel. reckon chris could problably do it.

  • @souldiarra Uhhh... You realize that pinkpointing isn't part of sport climbing, right? Noone considers onsighting where you place the draws. That would only be trad climbing. This climb for instance has fixed draws.

  • @Snorri520 thanks for current definition of onsight. pre placement in sport climbing as opposed to trad climbing sounds easier though, however, i assume the aim in sport climbing is more to push the physical boundaries rather than the philosophical/ ethical. sport climbing seems to me a more aesthetic way to climb.

  • @souldiarra Yeah, with pre-placed protection, one pretty much sees the route already established, it's more skill than puzzle, and some just prefer one over the other, that's all. Who really cares about all the definitions though? Just climb & have fun!

  • @souldiarra that's absolutely untrue, in sport climbing it's considered "onsight" also if the protection are placed before, the only thing that counts is that you never tried the road before and that you never saw someone climbing it (anyway, in the youtube era, this second aspect becomes difficult to prove or not)

  • подскажите, пожалуйста,что за песня?

  • bad song, good climb

  • Where is this? It looks familiar

  • @natedcruz its in new river gorge. Title man

  • That's so awesome, I climbed at the same park as Chris Sharma a month ago.

  • What song is this! I can't find it for the life of me.

  • Great video~

Could you please tell me the name of the song and the artist?
