@scuderia747bhp The first two figures you mention are what it rated during testing. The first one was on a different dyno than ours earlier this year with the tires slipping. The third is rated whp horsepower. The last one is a conservative estimate of brake horsepower we used on our 8 second run. Keep in mind, this package has evolved during testing and had not been released to the general public until recently. The 1500 brake horsepower will not vary now the package is officially released.
@Amstuned Can we see the actual Speedometer? like on your AMS Alpha 10 video, its cool seeing it go up on the electronic thing, but much much better on the GT-R's actual Speedometer! :D are you guys building a more powerful GT-R? or is this 1500bhp your last? Kepp up the good work :)
@Amstuned great job! What's with the trans did u guys rebuild or is it a new one tha has all the same factory feathers? And i heard alot bout tuned r35's blowing up on th track, after a few runs.how's this one taking abuse?
you pretty much got it, my understanding is that spoilers use drag to create downforce to increase grip for high speed corners and that drag usually sacrifices straight line speed a bit.
i don't think this one was tuned with corners in mind....
OF COURSE YOU WILL HAVE ALL THAT POWER BUT LETS TALK ABOUT DURABILITY THIS WILL NOT EVEN GET 2YEARS OF DAILY USE,25000 MILES THEN YOU WILL NEED A NEW ENGINE WE TALKING ABOUT 1500HP IN A V6 ENGINE WITH 35LBS OF BOOST,THERES NO WAY THAT THE ENGINE LIVE FOR 50000 MILES
@gtralpha1 maybe if you have terrible tuning and you are running to rev limit every chance you get... any person who uses this as a daily driver is not going to put it to the floor all day long... and 35lbs of boost is not really all that high for the power its making... ive seen daily drivers with more boost then that and have lasted long time...
The car is impressive, no doubt about it (though I wouldn't spend $165,000 to run that time, but what I'd build wouldn't drive on the street as well or turn as well either).
But I have a question...
Was this on stock or street tires? That's the only way I can think of to run 166mph on a 9 second pass, or to only have a 2.0 60' time with an AWD car like this. Definitely a fast car though. Get good tires and show an 8.20 like it should be running for that MPH.
@Milehighsnake98 They're 18" M&H drag radials. The 60' time was actually 1.6. The number on the board was the reaction time. No rush there of course as the runs were just done for testing. You are right about the tires, but the GT-R is limited to what it can fit without modifications - this and remaining unstripped is just as much a priority as running an 8 second pass.
@bkyoung1 yeah looked like about a 1.6. We have the world record for quickest/fastest full weight, full street trim R34 with a 9.4 @ 156mph (1150whp from a RB30) but manage to get mid to low 1.4s and a best of 1.39 weighing 3830lb
With your 60ft down into 1.4s yours is EASILY 8.70 to 8.80 and you might crack 170mph. Big well done guys.
what is the total cost of car with mods including labor just curious what it takes to achieve this and what fuel is this on It would be nice to list all the mods that it takes to arive at this car
@em2k20 They don't have the 12 listed on their site, but the Alpha 10 which has "only" 1100hp is almost $70,000 over the top of the MSRP of the car. Try their site.
@thepunisheruae 1300+ all wheel horsepower (awhp) as stated in the video is equal to 1400+ brake horsepower (bhp). The 1350+ awhp this car made today is now more like 1500bhp (at the crankshaft).
@thepunisheruae It is street legal. It also drives smooth like stock and with it's premium fuel tune instead of race gas, it can be used as a daily driver. Of course, fuel consumption would go up, but nothing more than many of the luxury exotics being sold today.
@Amstuned i'm looking forward for any thing new i dont know about my country ( UAE ) if they allow a such amount of power like this and is its capable to reach 2000 hp ?????? all what i see is 1500 hp and daily use i dont think there is cars got same hp and daily use
the alpha 12 is it for the spec v also or the spec v can get more hp or something ?
@thepunisheruae Also, if you've been to their site, you would see their claims of daily driveability. Legality would depend on your state/country's laws. Since this is still in the testing phase, I doubt there are many people running this kit that would be able to comment on it's driveability. With the way the gtr runs with the alpha 10 kit, i'd imagine this is just as smooth. GO AMS !
@bkyoung1 LOL wtf ? How is 1300awhp equated to only 1400chp and yet a mere 50 more whp jumps it another whole 100chp ? lmao ! Even if drivetrain loss was 18% ( which would be a joke ) it would still be over 1500 chp with 1300 whp alone. The loss on this car is EASILY over 22%. The number 1400 shouldn't be the outcome of any equations regarding this car.
Thepunisheruae: Soo it's right in front of your face.
@sleepersown Where do you come up with 22% drivetrain loss? To begin with, punisheruae picked the notion of 1400+chp most likely from an earlier post from a forum or older video. I did not say EXACTLY 1400 hp. To keep it simple fand short, I used the + as more than 1400. This is on our Dynojet and not our Mustang dyno. I think you're looking into this way to deep.
@bkyoung1 I didn't mean it as you said exactly 1400 either lol. I understand what the " + " means. What I didn't understand was how is it that 1300 = 1400+ and 1350 = 1500 lol. I was laughing cuz it looks like you're saying the extra 50 more whp equates to a whole extra 100 chp. Before this is taken out of context more, I wasn't trying to show you up ( I apologize if you took it that way ).
@bkyoung1 Oh and the 22% came outta my ass just to throw out a number as I was just comparing the r35's loss with other awd cars claims ( audi's mostly ) ... Although I just equate them to E.T. numbers and get the real hp estimate from there. If it's lower or higher, i'll gladly take correction. Are we on the same page now ?

one question remains: price. the alpha 9 was 127,000 and that put out roughly 900hp. my guess is between 150,000 and 200,000 for the alpha 12

@muffinsjustmuffins 127k I think you have this confused with the Underground Lambo's the alpha 9 kit costs less than half of that.
