Question: I changed my rear brake pads on a gsxr 600 and I noticed the rotors get REALLY hot even without braking....what can I do to eliminate that or is it normal ( I never noticed till now)???
@usforeignpolicy Thank you for the compliment. we try t put out a much "how to" information as we can for the products we have via OTT's sponsor, sportbikewrench.

you might want to mention the hazardous nature of residual brake dust on the respiratory system...i.e. the need for a mask.

i did this last night, and when i pumped my front lever, the front pistons moved more, than the rear pistons.

What tool did you use to push the pistons back into the caliper with? All four pistons have to go in at the same time right?

Hi Dave.
First, thanks for all the videos. I have learnt great deal from them.
Could you define soup watter? Is any soap we can find good, or just the very basic soap is the best.
What about brake cleaners? Aren't they better option?

@str8jacket3044 if the rotor is getting hot there could be a number of problems:
- too much oil in the reservoir
- pads hung up on the holding pins
- stuck piston(s) due to corrosion
- rear wheel not aligned properly

Why don't u just use break parts cleaner on the pistons, won't that clean better and just put a dab of grease when ur done for lubrication?
