Likewise, Lisa Maxwell sounded much more like Kira in 1991 than she does today (just compare the "Sexy Kira" and "Lisa Maxwell as Queen Kira" videos). People's voices just mature over time, but usually keep the same timbre. Lisa may also be a smoker (not sure of that, but she sounds like she has a smoker's voice), which can change your voice.

His voice is deeper, but the timbre is still there. I think he did Dark Crystal when he was in his early 20's, and I think his voice was somewhat more effeminate then.
