Gil Santos does the "game" call in this ad - since the "game" is between the Patriots (Santos is New England's play by play announcer) and the Colts, was there a mix of ths ad with Bob Lamey (Colts play by play man) as the announcer?
So if i buy the HTC EVO 4G I will be able to watch live NFL games on it when the season starts? Not just with the NFL Mobile app but just live games period with the mobile TV. If anyone knows please inform me ASAP. Thanks
That is not Gillette Stadium, nor is it Lucas Oil Field. I have been going crazy by pondering on which stadium that is, but I think it may be fictional so that Sprint can promote all 32 teams universally. If I am wrong and you know what field that is, then let me know.
The effects on this commercail are cool but .... maybe this is picky.... they say its a 30 yard field goal. However, the kick is on the 30 yard line which means its a 40 yard field goal.
no because the ball is placed and kicked on the 30. The distance is taken from the place of the kick. The line of scrimage looks to be around the 25 which is way to close. Typically the kick is made from about 12 yards back. (dependant on the kicker im sure).

The announcer heard here in this ad is Gil Santos. He does the Patriots play by play games on 104.1 WBCN FM (rock radio station) in Boston.

It sounds a lot like Gil Santos' call of the winning kick in SB XXXVI, slightly changed. Good for Gil and great to hear!

aside from the obvious CGI, it looks like you used tilt-shift imaging. at least, you achieved a tilt-shift effect. very cool

Was the phone/stadium all CG or was there any physical modeling? That really tiny depth of field window makes it look so great.

see i thought it was 10 yards back and then 8 yards from the goal line to the post so 30 + 8 = 48 yards.
lol field goals confuse me =\

We used a generic stadium that was inspired by several real NFL stadiums.
