That's crap. Cats just suck. At least dogs howl and stuff. I don't get peoples fascination with dumb animals, unless they are blind I see no reason for it. What does it say about the owners,

"Oh hay I can't relate to people they are too interesting, cultured and potentially difficult. This here dumb animal thinks I'm great though, simply because I feed it and it has shit for brains." There's a dog downstairs. They don't let in in the shop, so it howls all the effin time - thanks.

A quick review of Slonimsky's Lexicon of Musical Invective finds that "Sounds like cats on the keyboard" predates Schoenberg by 300 years. I love the fact that Mitsuko Uchida' s performance of the real Op.11 is listed in the Related Videos. From the ridiculous to the sublime....
