Didn't give him a chance? He had SIX MONTHS. It was our worst points total in January for FIFTY years. We were in a relegation battle ffs. We lost at home to the likes of Blackpool, Northampton and Wolves. He had a chance to show what he could do and he fucked up. He bought the likes of Poulsen and Konchesky. Liverpool never performed for Roy because he was never wanted at the club. His time was one of the most depressing periods I've ever had supporting Liverpool. He was rightly dismissed.

Look I'm not going to argue about this any longer. He wasn't good enough, end of story. He was not a scapegoat. His tactics were woeful. At the end of the day, if someone isn't good at their job, then they lose it. It's that simple. If you can give me a good reason why Liverpool shouldn't have dismissed their worst performing manager for fifty years, then good for you. You can't blame the players as the same set of players performed so well under Kenny. Because he was the right man for the job.

Moyes is a brilliant manager. A guy like him could make Liverpool a real force again and they'd play a decent brand of football as well.
