funnily enough i have a bid on ebay at this point in time for the love is only feeling lp...i already have it but i played it so much i need a better copy !
well, I bought them all, the vinyls, in the 70s and 80s directly in London....wasn't I lucky? whenever I hear his songs, I see the narrow, bustling streets and even smaller and narrower shops of that time in London, to come back to the story. In the early 70s I was 13 (!) and I heard Catch the Wind in London during our class trip. Fell instantly in love.
Well, there was one vinyl my best friend got the last copy of - HMS Donovan. She put in on cassette for me, but although I looked after the vinyls and cassettes rather well the latter went the way of everything earthly. Now, I got it at ebay some months ago - and I thought I was complete until I saw your page.... still some work left.
Donovan then was largely responsible for my excellent marks in English later on, he's responsible for my love of the English la´nguage and that nowadays I speak English almost like a second native tongue - apart from typical mistakes ....
Allthough, for long years I had no record player. So, no more Donovan. And then I got the spinning table again - and to my amazement I could still sing along with ALL of his songs without hesitation - as long as I didn't thought about it. Nowadays he's, yet again, a daily companion. His old and his newer songs, though I still feel in my hearts of hearts, that his old songs are the most poetic.
70 li yıllarda şarkılara ulaşmanın bugünkü kadar kolay olmadığı zamanlarda seninle tanışıp müziklerini hep sevmiş birisi olarak İYİKİ VARSIN diyorum...UMARIM BİRGÜN BURALARADA GELİRSİN.....

I grew up on Donovan songs, but there are so many I've not heard before, like this one. It's so pretty. And his voice is so smooth and pleasant.
