  • sounds like an elephant mating

  • Won't lie, the sound on this is kinda jarring, but it is informative as fuck.

  • @ 1:51 theres a dog/cat that just walks by. lol

  • ALRIGHT! some peope dont know how to learn from thoose "easy" vids where they play 9 notes a second. so nwebie learners seek videos like theese, anything they can get to perfect them selves. some of us cant afford lessons. im going to use this and many other skit videos lke this. and ill make amazing solos, if you dont like teese kind of videos FUCK OFF. ive been in a kickass metal band for 3 years now and we been rockin around. AND THEESE VIDEOS ARE HOW I LEARNED TO PLAY! ROCK ON TOM!

  • nice home made lesson there.. I bookmarked it for my practice.. thanks a lot.. great job!

  • damn mate tune your guitar

  • Nice video man...very helpfull lesson for average guitar players like me :) I find it really good and its well intended..don't pay attention to all the others motherfuckers that have nothing better to do than just posting shitty comments that have nothing to do with the lesson; and all they do it's just sitting around all day in their homes posting "smart"comments on youtube believing they are smart or funny.

  • The cat is his satanic master....lol

  • wow theres something i noticed in all of these guitar vids....why is there always a cat walking past hahahaha

when i make vids you'll probably see a dog or 2 lol

  • Nice video; thanx

  • that was useless

  • nice pussy half way through, nyaw

  • this video has the best comments on youtube thank you for entertaining me people.....especially when you get to the bottom

  • I drank a 5th of bourbon and I find a booger more useful than this video. Thanks anyway.

  • hi im jason parker and i like to wear sun glasses inside..

  • why do you use sunglass inside your house?

  • Basically, the formula for the bent note (E string and B strings respectively) is:

    B = 3 + En

What the formula says, is anything fret the E is playing, the B must play 3 frets above the E string fret.

    For example,

    E = 9

    B = 3 + En = 3 + 9 = 12th fret.

I dunno. I just like to make mathematical formulas for Music. It's interesting when you combine the two. Helps you to understand better as well.

Oh! By the way! Thanks for the techniques and lesson. Great job! ;)

  • nice shades

  • hahaha when he does the first thing slow it sounds like part of the spongebob theme song hahahaa:)

  • its an alien :D

  • kiteh does not approve at 2:23 : (

  • dog at 1:53

  • That looks like a cat.

  • yes sorry it was a cat :)

  • it was a goat u idiots

  • you people don't know a giraffe when you see it do you?

  • leave the guy alone, it was his wife

  • it was obviously a platypus... they're commonly mistaken as a menajorie of different animals.

  • lol

  • why dooes coffee make you piss so much?

  • it gets ya goin...including your bowels wooooooooooo coffeeee

  • isnt he playing position 2, of the 5 minor pent scales???

  • The first lick is position 1

  • If you google the 5 minor pent scales you'll see different, he is actually starting(first pattern he plays) in position 2 on the 12 fret. In E. Position 2 is the most popular one. Pos 1 & Pos 2 are the only ones with 3 roots in the pattern, the other 3 patterns have only 2 roots per pattern. Thats what I've allways been taught anyway.

  • you are right scootermo :)

  • LuljO93, I have a series of books called "The guitar Grimior". They seem to be starting in the position 2 like I've learned, @ position 1... So who knows..as long as your roots are correct for your scale, I guess it doesn't really matter since the are all moveable and run consecutively depending on your key.

  • Hey Atomic,

Thanks for taking the time to to show how it's done. I'm going to fav this vid and sub right now.

  • Cat at 4:15

  • haha, i seen it too

  • and at 1:52

  • and that's the most important thing in this vid ;dd

  • in the first lick i do not undestand the picking are u pulling off the same string u picked or do u pluck the other string and pull off the seperate string ?

  • FACCIA DA PIRLA!

  • dude i feel sorry for u cause everyone puttin bad camments like urll never b a gd teacher. well i think u are you show how its played then play it slowly which helps me learn, but the only thing is that i know all dat stuff lol umm if u know any sweet sweeping licks and stuff like that, ill appretiate it if u did a vid of that stuff :D cheers im subscribing :D

  • Don't tell people they can do something all day long! Because then they do and they never learn anything new. The third one is kinda cool. This guy kinda mumbles though, its annoying. Not a bad guitarist, but not a great teacher. The best guitar techers are the ones that are just zoomed in on the neck where they're playing.

  • But if someone is a beginner, showing the picking hand can help them a lot. Just because you may be a skilled guitarist and able to pick up licks extremely easily, does not mean that others can do the same.

  • get your bends all the way up

  • There's a ghost at 1:54 Look closely

  • hahahahahaha

  • lol erm woops i accidently clicked on the thumbs down and ment to put thumbs up woops sowwie :/

  • WACK!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I can do quite a lot of this but at least your lesson is genuine, well meant and very clear unlike those who claim 'lesson' and just shred on a blurry video with absolutely no explanation.

Nice one mate!! (If you want to learn some 'rock gurning' to go with your great playing, visit my page)

  • Thanks man! =) I thought it might be a nice bag of tricks for some intermediates.

    See yaz.

  • It's called having a headache f-hole.

  • Good job !! All beginners have to use E minor pentatonic to start guitar soloing !!

    Keep good work !!

  • Hey dude. Using a crappy little practice amp (a Kustom) and a BOSS Metal Zone. My guit is a 6-string Dean Boca (they're usually 12-string electrics).

  • it sounds like a bee!

  • what type of amp and fx r u usin?
