It's strange because I always associated this song with the Vault Dweller from FO1, like his closure theme.

Especially when this first starts playing in the FO2 intro describing how he founded Arroyo, but never felt right. He left to die in the wasteland, then you as the Chosen One takes off from his legacy. It just draws you in- we will never know of the sad fate of the FO1 PC who we journeyed with, risking all to save the human race. Now all that remains of the PC's story is endless wander.

Ambiant or atmosphereic is basically what "type" or function it served.

This is obviously tribal type stuff.

But I LOVE the violin in it, with the tribal stuff... Really this is probably my favorite track of all the fallout tunes.
