@chaseyisawesome I think it's a cowbell that goes directly into their earpieces, like the crowd isn't supposed to hear it. But the sound recording has come straight from the board, so the cowbell noise is there for us.

@chaseyisawesome what you hear is the secret cowbell, you can't actually hear that live, it's just in their monitoring system. mike uses it during parts where there's no drums, so nobody misses when they have to come in and stuff.

AS much as I love DT and Labrie, this is probably his worst performance. Being tired or having an off day isn't an excuse. MP has the most physically demanding job of the group, and yet I have never see him miss a beat.

JP nailed the solo, although I wish he would improvise on it more like he did back during Images.

Oh well, no one's perfect.

james had a really off day here, he has lost ashitload of he´s range during this show, he can´t really get to the highest notes, and has to push himself really hard, wich he is very careful with. So he doesn´t hust himself...

My opinion: Please James, when having a off-day, LOWER all notes so you can hit them, instead of oushing the shit out of youre self...

i have yet to hear james labrie sound decent live. needs to subdue his vibrato a bit, maybe. has no stage presence and not much soul. walks back and forth like a WWF contestant before a match. i'm a huge dt fan and there are people who could fix him like a choreographer for starters and perhaps a trainer and wardrobe person. look how much work his bandmates obviously do. just my opinion... doesn't mean shit!

He obviously did some intense rebuilding between this and Score. From 1995-2005, he just didn't have his old range or control. This is atrocious, and you don't have to adore everything he does to be a DT fan, first of all. Second of all, if you're a true fan, you speak the truth of that band. It's called accountability. Musicians are at the fans' mercy. I'm a musician...I don't want to go to a show and hear shit. I want to hear my money's worth. That being said, I'm glad James is back.

Agree mate, Im a huge fan too but it doesnt mean we cant have an honest opinion right? Labrie has NO bass to his voice and is very lazy when performing live - unlike the rest of the band. He sounds good in the studio but leaves a lot to be desired when live - If ya cant do it live then DONT do it at all. Love the WWF obsevation lol, spot on! He's not that bad. I saw a video from their most recent tour, and they played Another Day. I don't understand why they chose that song for the set. He could barely hit the highest note on the Live in Tokyo DVD (1993). You could hear it, he was struggling for the entire song. He's getting older, give him a break.
