@outdoorpooltable i also believe they showed it wrong. and there was no need for side spin, as the cue ball didnt hit any other ball or a cushion. and with the speed he applied to the cue ball, if it had had a lot of top spin it would've gone a bit further down the table, i believe. but im no pro, so idk
I think it should be at around 10 o'clock in order to make that position.....ronnie was cueing down on it ......but we never know from that camera angle I guess... what do you say 078?
Yeah I think Ronnie hit the cue ball lower down. Judging from the potting angle playing the shot with top spin looks like he would have gone into the reds. Thats what it looks like to me anyway.
You are not a pro but are absolutely correct.

I know for a fact that he struck the white exactly in the centre. at pace this creates a stun run through.

It's a real difficult shot, even professional players couldn't make it at all time with such positional play.
