5K DPS when Naxx was considered end game is quite good, and if you could hold a raid full of 5Kers you had no issues clearing 25 man in a few hours. I call shenanigans to the people raging how they could do over 3K in blues, yeah maybe for 30 seconds with full flasks/buffs/BL up.

This dps isn´t anything out of the ordinary. Almost any boomkin can dps around 5-6k specially on patchwerk. I reached 7,4k at this fight as a balance druid.

reaching 7.4k dps was more difficult at the begening of wotlk for 2 reason : first reason is the gear and second reason is that they buffed us. so i must say that his 5.6k dps is impresive

I did with blue gear 3,7k dps when i first reached 80. With full t7,5 I did 6,3k and with full conq BEFORE eclipce buff I did 7,4k at this fight. The dps is not impressive in judgement of his gear. That gear have the capability to dps A LOT more.

lawl, i remember when i was doing about 3k dps (im terrible) with my dk in VoA, we couldn't find a last dps so we let in this gnome mage, he had all greens and a few blues...but we were desperate and let him in, we tried emalon but wiped, looked at the dps meter, and he was doing 600 dps...

it was so funny. as you can imagine he was kicked and we found someone else and then we succeded xD

buy a few epics if youve got the cash atleat go full blue then farm toc and toc hc. i geared my druid to full level 200 epics in 6 days playing rufly 4 hours a day farming. its not the best but it works

i love farming ToC, get afew good guildies and farm it all day, we all split the abyss crystals and altogether we made about 4k from them, (we ran it for about 6-7 hours for 2 days when it 1st came out) got the black war mammoth from the marks i got in there too :D

druids are a hybrid class therefore not pure so no matter what form/spec your in, an equally skilled pure dps (rogue,warlock,mage,hunter) will always beat you although last patch there was an exception for feral dps as it was op.

idk his, but mine it's pretty easy to follow:

start:

1 faeriefire (if some other druid didn't)

2 moonfire

3 ins. swarm

4 wrath as many times till eclipse procs, then starfire till eclipse ends

5 refresh dots

use starfall, typhoon (if close or else get close) and treants whenever you can... well, starfall i save in those bosses that spawn ads

some macros for raids help too but it becomes more boring spamming probably 2 buttons

reason why hes not going oom is because he didn't listen to forum number crunchers when gearing, hes most likely crit geared: crit=mana+fastercasts+faster eclipses over haste which has a soft cap. but they don't tell you that on moonkin 101's

andthere is an achievement of killing him under 3 minutes called : Make Quick Werk of him. but no1 got the achievement because every1 already has it, pretty damn impressive imo

Dont worry I think....Rogue has nice dps if you use all your "buffs" +buffs from other players in raid....I did 5025 dps with my rogue......I had Hemo spec swords.....I have no problem in PvP with my rogue ....Shammy with 25k hp (elemental)

Well I'm not the one who made this rotation but basicly the moonin rotation is : wrath to make starfire eclipse proc... then starfire for the eclipse... then you put your dots ( and FF ) then spam starfire till the hidden cooldown of eclipse is over ( you can know it with an addon named sqawk and awe ) then you spam wrath make eclipse proc etc... pop your trees at the bloodlust... and if you have starfall try poping it when your trinkets are proccing

This is slightly off, you want to glyph for Imp. Moonfire and Starfire if you're raiding, so you want to do the following:

IFF > IS > MF > Wrath till Eclipse, Starfire until Eclipse falls off, then refresh IS and MF, hit Starfire until Eclipse hidden cooldown vanishes, then check your dot timers, refresh if needs be, and repeat from the Wrath step.
