Image songs are almost never used in the actual anime. They are released on cd separate from the series and mean to give viewers more insight into the character than could have been achieved just by watching. This song, for instance, is about Seiya's love for Usagi and how he wants to help her. <3

The only image song that made it into Sailor Moon was the orgel version of Golden Queen Galaxia. It's also known by fans as Galaxia's Locket or Sailor Moon's Death.
